Looks like a good turn out I’ve never met you cause I usually get there around 2 or 3 on Sundays
very cool! Love Whistling Death!
Beautiful planes
Hi Gary, I just watched the build video and was hoping to get a demo of the "flaps" and mixes you programmed. I know some of that stuff can be a bit of an experiment. Maybe a video of what worked or the adjustments made. Thanks.
Thanks for the video! I wanted to ask you about the servos it comes with. Are they good? just ok? how do they center?
Never CA your gear covers to the fuesalage use some shoe goo or something and glue yhem to yhe gear. A solid CA seal can crack and rip the covering on hard landings u want some flex at the fues glued to the gear
What Rx would you recommend? About to order this plane very soon. Would really like stabilization just incase i got into trouble. Btw i have a radiomaster TX16s so it can control spektrum and most all others
Nice job on the deadstick recovery.
We need younger reflexes maybe Hannah again
Photographer must be an old man...he can't keep the airplane in view!😮😂
Nothing like trying to rip the tail off of it on purpose! Kudos to the design and for landing in one piece! Cool airplane
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent
I'm sorry That I didn't participate, but I received a message from Robert Jones where he said not to go so Bob could celebrate his brother Erik's memorial.
Humberto, I'm sorry...the intent was to close the field to open flying but not stop people from attending. I'm glad you can see the event via video!!!❤
This has easily become my favorite plane! The biggest envelope I have ever seen in a plane! Pylon racer to STOL 🤘🤘
Quick question what is the extra wire on the speed controller. And what is the other connector in the battery compartment????
Telemetry
How is the PNP version holding up. My concern was the servos, with lack of parts availability.
30 plus flights and no problems
30 plus flights. No problems so car. I fly it as hard as I can.
@@garyrice4610 Thank you for the info.
Which wire from the speed control go to the receiver
XT40? Is there such a thing? Maybe you mean XT60?
hi where is ceg do we have li po as far foward as we can thanks cant find any thing about ceg
Run a 4ooomah 6s all the way back to the wing tube. You will love the way it flys at this location. It's my favorite 3d plane right now
Thanks very helpful
hi do you strap lipos down and velco them
There is a velcro strip that goes inside the fuse and a strap that goes around the battery and the former inside the fuse.
hi whats the best colour to see in the sky as so many
The red shows up nice. But I have heard from others the orange stands out best in the sky.
What glue did you use for the rudder hinges? And same for horizontal? I’m a jet guy so usually use hysol.
I use the hysol loc tite 608 or i have used regular 2 part epoxy
I use formula 560 canopy glue. It glues plastic to wood like nobody's business. I glued the stab and even my control horns. Mine was a kit. I fly it hard. Never had a failure in all my years building. Water cleanup.
Most people enjoy music. There a lot of back ground talking during the video and I didn't want to have people complain about hearing people talk the whole flight.
Thank You
Started off nice and..........quiet, but then had to leave :-( why music?
What a wonderful collection of clips , beautiful planes and fantastic flying !!! Thankyou for sharing !!! Merry Christmas from New Zealand !!! 😉😎
Thank you!
Not familiar with OMP. Any idea how they compare to Extreme Flight?
Very light weight. Built very strong with cevlar reinforcements. As of now they only have the edge in two sizes. And a crazy airplane called the bighorn. More are coming soon.
The quality is better than extreme flight. I fly both manufacturers
For price value, performance, and quality, it gives extreme flight a run for their money on the 60" class. I fly mine hard and it holds up just like the extreme flight planes. I own both
Same designer. He is also working on a new version of the stinger in 2025
Nice flight👍🙂🇺🇸
Gets better every flight...moving CG aft a little at a time!👍🙂🇺🇸
What are the specs? Looks like a Stinger ;) . . . they flew great
Spec are found here. www.rcairdesigns.com/
wow i cant believe you glued the landing gear pants to the fuse....if you break your landing gear you have made it impossible to replace. without damaging the covering.. normally these are just glued inside them to the gear only.
It popped off on the third flight. I have now put them on with silicone.
@@garyrice4610 That was lucky 👍 I've had loads of these planes 60 67in... I now don't use steel bolts to hold the landing gear on...I use 2 only M6 nylon bolts they break off nicely without damaging the fuselage extensively inside... 😉 Also I don't use steel bolts/screws on the wheel pants too...I use M3 nylon bolts screwed into captive nuts inside the pants this allows the pants to come off too... I fly off rough grass in winter but it's also handy if you have a deadstick or hard landing... 😉
😏 Promo-SM
Oh yeah send it! Looking really good.
I built the arf version of this. Hands down my best 3d 60" at the moment. Super aggressive and no wing rock. I would buy another without question
Good build video🙂❤️🇺🇸...but think Elevator/Flap mix is backward...elevator up= flap down and vice versa.
Can I have a Flight after I fly it? Good Job!👍🙂🇺🇸
Great video, hope you have fun with OMPHobby airplanes.
full span equally deflected flaps are a bad idea, try drooping the ailerons slightly less than the flaps to help prevent tip stalling. it common practice in full scale, such as Wilgas. Especially on these smaller models that tend to drop out quickly without much warning.
Think thats an XT60 Bub.
Quién me podría vender o ayudar a encontrar o conseguir slow ride se los agradecería infinitamente (claro se los pagaría muchas gracias)
I didn't weight the box before I broke it down and toss it out. If you are in the US Buddy RC has standard shipping for cheap. I think about $40
Thanks
Hello very instructive video, could you please tell me what is the weight of the box with the plane. That is because I want to order one but I need to know the shipping weight of the box….thanks. Good work
Looks nice only thing I don’t care for is the brand name on the wing …don’t see that with other brands
It comes pre.printed in the covering. You can buy the green one. It doesn't have logos on it.
I like it. A lot!
Gary I had an accident with my Truck and I kept my Slowride in it. Well she is totally destroyed, Can you get me a kit or have a lead on one. I am in New Jersey and Disabled. Had the plane for two years

Can't buy this kit anymore :-(
Lucky you.
You are definitely getting some "moves" out of that. Good stuff :)
