Marian’s lines don’t match because she was losing to the corruption at that point. The closer the squad got to blacksmith the less she was able to fight off the influence of the corruption

It’s very interesting to see someone with no prior knowledge of the Goddess Squad go through this event.

The first few chapters have several oddities, like Marian’s lines not match between voice and subtitles, the squad name not being spoken out loud (since early on it was planned for players to pick their own squad name) and other small inconsistencies from later chapters.
