Wow Troy you have a nice arcade collection
Thank you very much I appreciate it
I loved this game as a teen. I seem to remember a seated PP. Is that a false memory? I swear I remember a Pole Position version where you were seated like in a real car!
@@SandySaunders9142 yes they definitely make a pole position sit down. It’s a cockpit version.
@@troylukans2174 I thought so! Thank you! 🏎🚦🏎🚦🏍
Gotta love the dog with the toy passing by! 🥰
Lol I swear it’s only when I turned the camera on
@@IRESTOREBUILDSTUFF-ne9xv I would like to get original cabinets, but here in Brazil it is very, very, very difficult and very, very, very, very, very, very expensive. I have plans to build some and maybe film the process (in Portuguese). One of the machines I want to build is a Nintendo cabinet with a CRT TV. I'm thinking about having two different control panels for this cabinet, so that I can swap and play NES and SNES using original consoles
I like the walls the way u finished them. Is that just a 2x8 unfinished pine board that u sanded and stained ?
Just working along what about you?
@@jumpingeneral they are 1x8 tongue, and groove pine
Brilliant stuff man, I bet all the driving games get a tonne of play,. Your basement is aswesome dude
Thank you very much and yes, they do
I actually made a video on which chip the battery ram is supposed to go on and also the crashing sound is another chip that is not working correctly which is also in the video unfortunately I don’t remember what location they go in
I have watched a ton of these videos.....none of you deal with the under side of the body....seems this should also be prepped and possibly painted black...your thoughts appreciated as I am about to do my 2019 Yamaha drive 2
Yeah, it’s a good idea to paint the backside black I only do it if somebody asked me too
I have a pole position 2 cockpit style game but it doesn't save scores. Is it a battery that need replacing and it doesn't make crash sounds when it impacts objects. Is that a menu change or dip switch click?
Nice video. Love the Neo Geo cabinet. Any Sega or Namco cabinets?
what monitor is in it?
@@joenes1960 I would have to look, but I believe that was a newer monitor out of a poker machine. It had no screen burn.
Hermosa neo geo
Thank you
Enjoying this series. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome thanks for watching
Hey buddy, great post as always, I just wanted to ask you, I got a pinball machine called "Deep Sea Diver" I guess its from the 80's and also a arcade from the 90's called "Mat Mania", would you know if they are worth anything. The pinball is actually in great shape, all the glass is is there, no cracks or breaks. Thanks for your time.
I really don’t know much about pinball, but they do tend to hold some value, especially the ones that are not EM machines so if the pinball you have has circuit boards and stuff inside, I would definitely say it has more value as far as the other game that one. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard of it. I’m gonna guess it was some sort of a kit that you put into a cabinet.
@@troylukans2174 hey buddy, thanks for the quick reply, the pinball is still working and it says "Ballys" So I assume that is the maker, The wrestling game was bought as a bday present, I was told it came from a arcade that closed. Thanks again for your help, since It might have some value Ill do some more research.
Howdy Troy, I hope ya'll are doing well, You said you got Neo-Geo from Arcade Jason, that's Cool, I haven't heard from Jason in, man it's gotta be a couple years or more now, really nice Guy and his wife, he programs 7 roms for me for my New Rally X board, that was even longer ago, I have a Frogger, but no Neo-Geos, not a fan of Neo-Geo, still looking for a Track&Field, not looking for Silver Strike, Cool games you got there, Thank you for sharing the info about them, I'm curious if your still in contact with Jason, as I said, it's been awhile since I talked to him last, anyways, great video, enjoyed that, looking forward to the next 5 games, Stay safe, God Bless and game on my Friend 🕹
Thank you very much and yes, I still talk to Jason. He only lives about an hour from me.
@troylukans2174 Very Cool, say Howdy for me Please, Thank you Troy
You have a great mix of games man, something for everyone!
@@ukxvcthank you
Looks great thank u
Your welcome
Great video as always. I've really got to go with the blue t molding on my AD one of these days.
Thank you seriously I don’t use colored t molding too much on original games but that’s really not a high dollar game by any means so guess it doesn’t really matter plus it’s just t molding you. You can just change it.
@@troylukans2174 Exactly I don't change up t molding often but it looks really good on that game
@@CusiArcade yes you’re right sometimes it just works
Nicest one I've seen, and interesting to see all the insides too. Never knew about the individual volume controls and speakers.
Thank you very much
Howdy Troy, I hope ya'll are doing well, Very Cool video, really enjoyed that, Elevator Action is one of my favorite games, still looking for 1, tou mentioned John, i learned a lot about fixing and restoring classic Arcade games, its to bad he quit TH-cam, Thankfully there are collectors like yourself, still making Arcade game repair videos and history on these Amazing classic Arcade games, i feel the same way, I will never get rid of my Arcade games, they're just to much fun to play, and even repair, as frustrating as it can be at times 😂 Stay safe, God Bless and game on my Friends 🕹
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Very nice job! Congratulations!
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Your wizard of war is in absolutely beautiful shape.
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Interesting stuff. I look forward to the series.
Thank you
Question, did you self learn your skill to repair arcades or did you take some schooling in electronics first? I want to do this and have standard electronic repair skills but wondered if I needed specific arcade electronic skill set
I have learned everything myself over the years of just working on stuff and a lot of TH-cam videos help me and a few people. I know that were into arcade games as well never went to school for electronics.
Alpine is one of my favorite Games. Yes build an Alpine ski. I love mine!
Yeah, I’ve been wanting to do it for a while. I think it’s gonna happen. I remember playing a skiing game as a kid but for the life of me I don’t remember what it was and maybe that’s why I wanna build it so badly.
Yes we need wizard of wor guts video pretty please
Got it lol
Jump bug is such a good game. One I go back to regularly. Cool vid man
Thank you and I agree
Enjoyed the tour 👍great work. You should make some channel tshirts
Thank you I haven’t made any for the Arcade. I do have them for my car channel.
Great Nintendo collection. I have a Donkey Kong Jr cabinet, I really like the art work on Junior. I have DK and DK 3 in mine all on a switcher, really cool to play all three games on one cabinet and saves space. Mikes arcade Double DK maybe an option for you, he modifies the board set to play both DK Jr and DK with high score save on it.
Thank you very much can he modify a donkey Kong Junior board to play donkey Kong and donkey Kong Junior
@@troylukans2174 Yes, it is designed to only work on a DK Jr board set.
There’s a wrapper for fix it Felix that saves high scores and other things like free play. Unfortunately no option to turn off attract sound.
That’s good to know I don’t really know much about computers so I’d have to figure out how to do it
Looks awesome!!
Thank you
Maybe I missed if you said in the video, but what is the paint and paint color?
Nevermind, I found it at 52:40 thank you
OK, awesome I wasn’t sure if I still had the can of paint or not
You have a really nice mix of games there in your arcade. Liking what I see bud
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
Very impressive! Incredible work brother. That Cuphead cab really pop's.
Thank you very much I appreciate it
Cool cabs 👍 It would be cool if you find a Atari Star Wars cab or even build one from scratch. It'll make a great addition to your arcade, it's a fun game for sure.
Thank you and maybe one day I’ll get one you never know
Nice video. Can you talk about some of your 1990s arcade cabinets in future videos? Do you have any Sega or Namco arcade cabinets?
Yes I’ll talk about all the games I have I have some 90s games thank you for watching I appreciate it
I wasn't aware that there was an arcade version of Dr. Mario.
Yeah, it’s on the vs system
Hello, I built a couple games my self in the past, I am interested in building a cup head, where should is get a cabinet for it, I purchased a cabinets from arcade shop in the past, would that be a place to get the cabinet? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks Marty
Yeah, I think they still sell them. I think there’s one other guy prince Arcade I usually build my own cabinets never had to buy a new one, but it’s probably not too much more to just buy one built then the time and materials to build your own
-install my version of fix-it felix jr-
Amazing work! I really like what you did with the controllers. What kind of metal did you use to make it? How did you bend it like that? I want to add more buttons on my arcade so I can hook up a Mistercade on it and play multiple vertical games on it.
Thank you very much. I normally have a metal bender that I use but that control panel. I believe I bought it without holes from Arcade shop or somewhere else online I cannot remember.
Troy thank you for showing your collection of amazing arcade games
Great MCR collection. Did you ever get the Solar Fox instruction redone? So sad in the video, with the compressed air took it away. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Thank you and now that you say that I wanna say I got them redone and I never put them on. I’ll have to look and see if I have them.
Excellent episode man! Audio sounds good to me pal
Thank you very much I appreciate it
Great video, I would love to see inside your cuphead when you get to it. Just to see how everything was ran and which system is running the game. You also mentioned John’s arcade I miss that channel. He was great I used to look forward to his videos.
Thank you and yes, I can show you the inside of the Cuphead and I miss John’s videos too
Thank you I appreciate you watching
Thanks troy!!!
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
Sweet, was waiting to hear more about TRON, thanks Troy!
All four of these games are some of my favorites, particularly Tron and Satan's Hollow. Many many memories of pumping quarters into them. Nice work on them, especially the Tron rescue.
Thank you very much and I agree. They are definitely awesome games and there’s really no better experience in playing them on the real cabinet
Thanks for sharing Troy. They are absolutely stunning pieces.❤
@@jerryvoluptuous9543 thank you very much I appreciate it
Thank you!!!
What is that first stuff you sprayed on the body? Just a cleaner?
Yes, that is a wax and grease remover and that takes any wax and grease residue off the parts fingerprints or anything like that and then after that, I us sprayway window cleaner
Thank you
Loved playing Operation Wolf in the arcade, in the UK 50p (~2 quarters) for a minute of play ;) Can't wait to hear about the Ultimate MK3 machine, very cool machine, and one of few machines I owned before moving to the USA.
I should have waited until later in the video ;)
Also, 3 is best, fact.
I agree 3 is the best
Yes it’s a fun game I. Remember playing it on Nintendo
Congratulations on your basement and you have a nice collection of Arcade games keep does videos coming Troy.
Thank you very much and I plan on doing a lot more videos
Need better audio setup.
I have a mic. I plan on trying this week.
