Yes, I agree. Just when you have to do the 50 feet backwards, you have to look backwards, otherwise they take points off.

@@alanaluxton When you go into reverse, just look in the mirrors or the reverse camera without putting your hand on the front seat and turning your face, just look in the mirrors, they make me nervous when you turn your face backwards.

Don’t talk down on yourself, you have to have confidence. Just remember to keep practicing and you’ll do great!

same, I'm 65 hours into my driving lessons and I'm still not confident enough for the official driving test-

bro I failed because they took off 5 points every time I went under the speed limit, and I was doing 20 in a 25 because there were stop signs every 10 seconds

Practice, practice, and more practice. My #1 tip for you is: drive like the level of experience you have, but don’t let fear and nervousness rule and dictate the way you drive - you will only become more prone to making mistakes. You WILL become more comfortable in time, but there’s no true way to force the “comfortable” feeling, that’s a trait that comes with time, experience, and true confidence in your driving ability.

No, you can use your brothers car as long as you have the registration/insurance for the car

Yes, you do use your blinker when doing a three point turn, and yes you must hold the seat when you look over your shoulder to back up

I felt the same way! When I would practice for my test I would have it covered, and when I took my test, I just went through a list of things I needed to do, like looking at the mirrors so I wouldn’t stop to think about looking at the camera

I still don’t know how to parallel park. Florida doesn’t require it. And as for merging, I don’t look over my shoulders, I use my mirrors, and scoot up a little to see past my blind spot, then merge over

@@alanaluxton yeah nobody in my family has been tested for parallel parking but just practicing it just in case since I'd much rather overprepare than not. I was told shoulder checks are important for road tests so I've tried to practice that. Pretty hard to not look at the rear camera lol

I’m not sure about getting out of the parking lot because I only drove around the parking lot for my test. But for three point turns, you turn on your blinker and look through your mirrors and you should be able to see where the road ends. But just practice and you’ll be able to get the feel of how far you can go. I also recommend if in doubt, don’t continue to back out because if you look straight and you have enough room to turn the wheel and start to drive, you don’t have to back up anymore

@@alanaluxton do I see my side mirrors both or only 1 which mirror do I see the most and by parking I mean when you normally park and then you go back. I’m in Florida so we have the same test and for the 3 point turn where did you look

@princezzdaniella3348 when backing out of a parking spot, you can use your mirrors, and you can look behind you, but you can kind of see where the cones are so you know when to turn
