I'm so excited for this. Definitely need to try this
What is that lovely program your using to keep track of rows 😅
Stich fiddle! It’s a life saver
You are so sweet, Girl. Thank you for your wonderful Master Class.
Ekkk going to have to get this pattern 😮
So cute😊
❤❤❤
This is awesome! I would love a more detailed explanation on how you’re doing the intarsia/color work
If you did not move the third stitch out and then bring it back in and just simply put the two and stitches towards the middle. What would that look like?
Well done video! Are you using an extended bed KX350?
Thanks! I think it’s the standard brother kx 350? I couldn’t find a lot of info about the difference between extended and standard
Excellent video! Keep making more of them. 😃
Cookie butter is a spread (sort of like nut butters or nutella). It's made from the crumbs cinnamon shortbread cookie (apparently call Speculoos) from Biscoff originally I think, so it smooth but sort of grainy/gritty.
Omg I had no idea! I had never heard of it before lol that makes a lot more sense now
I am so excited about finding your channel. I have an LK150 and have only made one thing. Your video has inspired me to get that baby back out.
so many creators talk about Over The Garden Wall & it just makes me wanna watch it so bad haha! i don’t knit (i crochet) but listening to you feels so comforting ✨ small creators unite 🤍
Awh thanks!! Also Over the Garden Wall is a classic and I would totally recommend it!
Wow! What talent you have. Just beautiful. The sweater as well as you! You go girl!
Awh thank you!
Thank you! Love your videos. Are you planning on making a v neck sweater? 😊
I’m working on a cardigan right now, but I’ll add a V nice sweater to the list!
Excellent instructions! Thank you
I am so glad I found your channel! I have been searching for machine knit patterns that aren’t ugly/old fashioned. Yours is brilliant. You are also a warm and clear teacher a pleasure to watch and learn. Keep going!!
Oh my gosh thank you 😭 that’s exactly part of why I started! When I got my knitting machine I felt there weren’t a lot of current sweater tutorials. Thanks so much for watching and your kind words!
This would be cute continued as a cape/pancho
Omg that’s such a good idea
I have the same tendency to knit more when the weather is cooler.
I think it has less to do with pleasing someone as having something in common with your grandchildren that you both enjoy and have that connection. That's likely something that you won't fully understand until you are a senior.
Yeah that’s a good point! I didn’t think of it that way :)
Very nice! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I’m about 1/3 of the way through this video. Just wanted to say as a long time hand knitter but new machine knitter I love watching your videos! 😊
Omg thank you!! I really like making them! Thanks so much for watching :)
Wow, I love your close up shots, just learning, great video.
Awesome, thank you! ☺️
Hi there. What size is your pullover please? I like your ideas
Hi! It’s XS-2XL, and thank you!
Can you please make a video on how to knit regular raglan sleeves, and also incorporate attching them etc.
I can certainly include a part on how to attach the sleeves. When you say “regular” raglan sleeves, what do you mean by that?
Thank you for the step by step demo!
You are so welcome! ☺️ thank you for enjoying it
How long does a sweater usually take you?
Usually a few weeks. I’m also designing the sweater as I’m knitting it though, so I think if I just made one straight from a finished pattern it’d take a bit less time. Thanks for asking! ☺️
Nice job on the video! I bought your pattern on Etsy however I’m having a difficult time printing the pdf I downloaded. I’m not sure why? Is this pattern available on Ravelry?
Hi, thank you so much! The pattern isn’t available on Ravelry. Can you message me through the Etsy message center so I can help you get that fixed?
Very nice! I enjoy watching you work on the same machine I have. I felt your pain when the needle messed up! Glad you could recover from that so well. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!! :) I was so nervous I damage the carriage, that hadn’t happened to me before!
I just got this machine, it was cool to see the color work.
@@raflexonics Thanks!
Looks huge for you. Good video. 😊
Thanks! I like oversized sweaters 😂
Thank you for your tutorial❤
Thank you!
You make it look effortless! I never would have guessed Big Twist either, your sweater looks very regal. Can I ask, what do you have your smaller tension dial to? The one that you thread the yarn through (>- >< >+)? I can never tell if I have mine set too loose or if I should be using wax to have the yarn glide on.
Awh thank you!☺️ for most projects I have it set as tight as possible, unless I feel like the yarn is catching which seems to mostly happen with wool. My trick is that I use one hand to push the carriage and the other to hold the yarn tension taught, so I don’t rely on the machines tension too much. If the yarn is completely slipping off the tension dial, then i straight up just throw the yarn off the table, so it has enough tension to stay in the dial lol.
@@ReillStudios Ah that makes sense! I am usually afraid to make that dial too tight, but then my yarn flies out of it. The table idea is a good one too lol!
What machine is that? Thank you
It’s a Brother KX-350. They are manufactured anymore, but a similar machine would be the silver reed
I have this same KX350 machine. Where can I get this pattern? It’s really lovely.
Thank you! ☺️ I sell the patterns on my Etsy: reillstudios.etsy.com It’s currently being pattern tested right now, but it should be available soon!
Nice sweater! What yarn are you using? It looks really good.
Thank you! It’s actually Big Twist Value Yarn, it makes nice sweaters but it’s definitely a budget yarn haha
@ReillStudios great, thanks. I'm a new machine knitter, so budget is definitely on the menu, lol
Thank you for your tutorial. very nice raglan shaping and I like it. great work. Love the pattern.
@@MrPeckjee thank you so much!
Lovely❤
Where did you learn to use your machine? What did you say the number was if your machine?
It’s a brother KX-350! I learned a little from old TH-cam videos and the manual that came with it but mostly I taught myself. There’s not a ton of info I could find about it. I did find the machine knitting Reddit to be helpful
The brother machines are no longer made unfortunately, you can find them used still. Also the Silver Reed LK150 is a clone of this brother machine and is still available new.
I like your mk rechniques and enjoy watching , thank you
Phenomenal! Wow 👌 Amazing! 😊
THIS IS SO COOL
Thank you!!!
Cool top and techniques, thanks
I _LOVE_ this! Creative and beautiful and supercool. Well done, thank you!
Oh my gosh thank you!!
Not a stain shit 😂 😂 has to play that back like 3 times
Great, light-hearted video. Would’ve been great to have some Sleep Token tunes playing in the background seeing how you’re dedicating a part of this video introducing the band to the audience. Keep it up!
Thank you! I was considering playing their music but I didn’t want to get copyright strikes :(
@@ReillStudiosIts worth trying. Don’t put full length songs. Snippets here and there. I think it is worth trying. If they get stricken down, you can always re-upload without the backing tracks.
