Good catch. I know that is an older E-One rig, with a newer LED light bar, but those rear warning lights are poor. Looks like maybe a couple amber strobes are working.

What is the purpose of a patrol rig? Do they go out and drive around looking for trouble, like a police car, or do they sit in a station?
It's not necessarily like a police car, but it's basically like a normal brush type vehicle for wildfires. I don't have a lot info on these types of rigs so this is just my assumption for it.

All “typical” calls (medicals, public assists, etc) have a few beeps and high priority calls(structure fires, traffic collisions with entrapment, etc) get one long beep. That is for all metro net fire departments. (Orange, Anaheim, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Fullerton, brea, and maybe 1 more if I’m not mistaken.)
