Okay so, the white paint at the barrel of firefly, is really effective. I've seen it in photos on the internet, but only in black and white. Apparently the color makes half the barrel disappear. 😂

I was today years old when I found out you can man the UAV. I like the guide, but a lot of efficacy is dependent on how competent/willing your SLs are. I've found that for the most part, even if it's milsim on the server, people just run around and do whatever they want instead of cooperating by listening to the commander which is very sad. A lot of games I've been in could've been won, but instead there's no interest in listening to the commander and instead just going and building your FOBs wherever you want. People also clog the squad chat with useless clutter which makes it hard to listen to command chat while some guy is talking about his subway order. It's a game, obviously it's usually pretty funny hearing this stuff but eventually it hinders efficiency.

I've gotta give it to you bro. Really good video, the way its made to describe every choice you made in the game is really easy to follow and understand. This has helped me out loads, keep up the great videos.

I had 2,000 hours in this game when the old owner did the armour update that no-one had asked for. As driver of German tanks I was so angry that I could no longer drift my Tiger ! Yes, the manual gearbox is more realistic but much less fun. I persisted for a while but finally quit playing when the owner went dark, after firing the Dev team. I'm glad to see it under new management but I doubt that I'll come back. I liked drifting Tigers too much ! I'm also wondering how one can build a FOB in the Red Zone. That was simply impossible before.

I personally think games like this serve as an educational and awareness thing for historical events. Like how much have you genuinely learned from playing games centered on real life events? For me it is a ton. Also an American game about us forces going out to foreign lands and commemorates the sacrifices given? Sounds pretty fricking awesome

If there’s nothing to earn and nothing to do it isn’t much of a game. Playing the “experience” over and over again is stale and boring after a while. Achieving things, earning things and doing things is what gaming is about. Not repeatedly gorging over lighting and sound effects for no real end.

A tip for artly Before creeping use to be meta but due to creeping getting nerf by you the minimum distance of creeping is 175m rather than 100m. This causes the artly shells to be less concentrated. That’s why static is the best artly for destroying Habs. When I tell people this I get told not true or I think one time shut up. But don’t believe me, go to practice build a hab, get into a uav, and call in the artly and watch the shells You need to call in static at 100m and right on top of the Hab. You called in the static next to the hab. (To do this you need to just call in artly on the hab. Right click and confirm on the hab. Keep in mind not all the time I’m able to fully destroy the hab with static at 100m. But I will say from it has a 90% success rate with this strategy.

As someone who is often leading or commanding, I can attest this information is both accurate and beneficial. If you are not that confident in multitasking, try to play the game more like a real time strategy game rather than a first person shooter. Your responsibility as a leader is to share information and give orders to others so that they can do the grunt work. Very good guide giving a clear rundown on the thought processes of some of the most important decisions of the match.

Had this game for probably 2 years, yet only had 2 or 3 games (which I loved) your videos may just give me the info I need to retry, many thx.

In my opinion, it's best to just focus on pushing the first point as offense on invasion, rather than trying to place a hab on the second or third point. It's very easy for the defensive team to simply place a hab on the first point, stack all of their team on the objective, and deny your team any chance of taking that point until you rotate your squad to that point. In the meantime, you waste tickets and heavily risk losing your forward hab, as what happened in the video. Also, I rarely ever assign multiple players to fireteams for the purpose of giving them split objectives. Oftentimes, the teams end up getting disorganized in firefights, and either way, it's very hard to micromanage people and fireteams in public games. Either way, this is a great video. Squad definitely needs more tutorials on how to squad lead, and it would be great to see more of these in the future.
