Window Screen Repair Like A Pro - Step-By-Step
The red regulator reduces the tank pressure to a high pressure needed to overcome the resistance of the long hose. The silver regulator reduces the pressure to what the generator needs. Try putting the silver regulator close to the generator.
First thing to do, check for good flow at end of hose. Reg's don't open sometimes, bugs get in hoses.
I know that it takes a long time to get the air out. Better to have the regulator close to the generator not the tank. I have z mister heater Lp heater and have to hold the valve for while till the air gets out and the gas gets there. Also don't shut off at tank but at Generator or heater if wanting to get going again soon.
@@boydruth9767 surprisingly, my generator fires up after 2 attempts.
If you have a tank like his, yeah, that could be a great idea for off grid. However, to my experience, a more dense fuel is actually better. For example, diesel fuel contains a lot more energy than propane In a generator this can be very valuable. I have had the chance to burn different fuels from natural gas to diesel and I'll be honest.Diesel is the least fuel burning generator I have experienced, don't even ask me about natural gas! That was a mistake! I'll never do that again!
By the way, the dual regulator is actually far better than the single regulator the reason why is because it has what's called an expansion valve with a pressure control valve sometimes liquid can come down the line and that will really mess things up. So that expansion valve makes sure that everything goes from a liquid state to a gas state before it goes through the pressure regulator just a heads up on that.
@@iansexpiramentaion5286 thanks for that information!
Fascinating. Propane as a fuel source for off grid is a great idea. Have you thought about solar and battery storage? Then no need for a propane delivery.
Yeh, not sold on the whole deal. Solar panels to my knowledge don't last forever as well as the batteries. Not sure how I feel about creating more landfill products or the idea of trying to recycle them after their lifecycle.
@therustichandyman Fair enough but the generator will break as well. I suppose it's what you feel more comfortable repairing or replacing.
I just got the same exact flex. Pipe down on a 2006, Toyota Sienna, and he did 2 feet both waves from the flex pipe because it was rusted out a 125 bucks brand new and welded at a shop.

18 buckets at my HD price of $22-$25 is still hefty. I’m not sold on lasting 5 years, but you should consider their upper product at $34 rated at 10 years. My thinking is that for 50% more, getting 50-100% more life would saving you plenty on your labor. On roofing, the difference between standard 25 year and artisan 50 year shingle is like $10 per pack. For less than $1,000, if installed and prepped properly, you can theoretically have a roof that last 2x as long as long, saving big $ on labor and hassle to install. Same with sealant that is rated for 2x life.
Where do you get replacement window from ?
@@nagialasri9711 I think I ordered it from Lowe’s or Menards, but I’m sure you could order it through Amazon or your local window or glass company.
I’ve been studying reviews of both miter, saw and stands for most of this year. I’m trusting the reviews I saw on the Skill Miter Saw sometime ago. My only hesitation was on the stand and my budget. recently, I narrowed down my choice to the Tough Built - the one with pneumatic tires, but it was virtually the same amount I paid for the saw so I baulked. Now, but after I’ve watched and listened to you , I’m pulling the lever$. Thanks for your video. you should get a commission.
@@aquaman7356 I will if you use the link below my video to go to Amazon and purchase it. Thanks for watching.
A daunting task. You did an awesome job. I have to do the same on a 6.0 for different reasons. The idea of using the crank to jack the motor up a couple of inches has been bothering me but apparently the crank is as strong as I think it is. You made it seem like a great idea. On the seized bolts, I used a Fein oscillating tool with a carbide blade to vibrate/cut bolt heads off in tight areas. I don't have a torch so I made that work. Thanks young man. I feel better about it doing it now.☑
Great video. Thanks. I believe the part you cut out to reuse is the rear catalytic converter. I read they usually last 10 years before they start having issues. I found a bolt on replacement on eBay for like $60.

@@Jdcakamatsu9 I used what came with it.
I drilled 3 holes into the oil seal equal distance apart. I drove drywall screws into the holes and then used a claw hammer to pull the drywall screws out.
I noticed that they shuffled the outlets around compared to older models that way the big 50a cord doesn't hit the wheel 👍
I had the same issue with my 04 Suburban. On the part you cut off there is something called the secondary locking mechanism. That is what gets all rusted and keeps the tire from dropping down. It is a safety to hold up the tire should the cable break. When you released the spring tension, you released the locking mechanism.
just wind it down ,once a year and oil and ,or grease the parts, and you will not have a issue at all, come on guys, or is it girls , lol.
@littleaub2145 Problem was is I only had the truck for 3 weeks, bought it used. The secondary locking mechanism was rusted solid. Fortunately it was sitting in my driveway when it went flat. Once I got it to unlock and drop, I cut the secondary lock off with my purse.

@@HamsterKombatInviteLink I’m not clear on your question.
There's a gasket in there that you didn't mention. Should be replaced. Also, there is a spec for the play on that shaft. Play spec is .005-.010 inch. You need to check the play by holding the bearing cap and cup in place (no gasket) by hand and checking the play with a dial indicator. This info comes direct from the Troy-Bilt Manual. I am sure there are other ways to do this. After you get proper play you can then put the gasket and cap in place and recheck. Then place new seal. Install the seal flush with the bearing cap. All of this is from the manual. Shim as needed.

A heat gun, a propane torch, or a high wattage hair dryer with part of it's air intake partially covered can be used to heat the metal and the paint. By heating the metal and paint where it's hot to the backside of your hand, it will make the dent easier to remove and keeps the paint from breaking or chipping as long as it's not already peeling away from the damage. After getting 95% of the dent out, you can reheat the metal and spray a key board cleaner aerosol can upside down to shrink and tighten the metal for the last 5% or bring the metal back inline if you stretched it out a little too far.
@@JeffsFreedomGarage thanks for the great tips!
You can also use a small kitchen sink plunger that's wet or add a little Vaseline to the plunger's lip as a dent puller. And I agree with Chase about using a deflated sports ball in the door panel to push the dent out as you slowly inflate the ball. @@therustichandyman thank you = hard to get the weeds out of the cracks even with the weed whip= will try
There’s liquid product for alligator cracked asphalt. It’s expensive due to shipping, but it’s seems to be just sealant that is thicker, has sand or materials to fill cracks. You can try a sealer, and add sand to give the liquid more body. Apply using a V shape squeegee for crack lines only. Rustics driveway is huge, and I’m sure he wasn’t going to apply trowel filler which is also expensive. Sometimes, like Rustic, repair the big holes, and give up on the spider web, alligator cracked area because it takes too much time and the patches are expensive. The big variable is whether you have drainage problems or poorly installed asphalt that is lifting parts of seeping under and lifting up and out pieces. If not, the sealant will keep the asphalt from deteriorating further, but not fix the cracks. This is like wax on car paint. If the paint has been damaged, a wax will keep it from further damage, but faded and worn out areas will remain. The paint, if protected with a sealant, will last as long as it can.
