After watching your videos, we are now planning our next trip to Europe and will include visiting these Islands. How long would you suggest we need, one or two weeks?

Thanks for sharing. Brought back memories of our trip last year. We saw most of the same things. We didnt do the ballloons as hubby was hell no. But was so amazing to get up in the morning to watch the balloons go over the top of our hotel. We did the ATV tour which was so much fun. The moutains around reminded me of the old wild west movies. We just loved Cappodica.

Hi Guys. Thanks for sharing. Totally awesome photography and narration. Fellow Aussie looking at a week along the rivera next August. Not looking forward to the heat through lol As a Perthite and use to the heat i still hate it lol We are spending a week on a cruise, then 2 weeks on Kefalonia. Smaller island in Greece. Kef is my happy place i want to retire to. Just love it. Then 8 nights in Turkey. Given me some ideas. I dont mind driving on the wrong side of the road. How did you find getting parking in these places. Not sure whether to do a road trip like you did. A cruise on a smaller boat for a few nights. Did Sail Croatia last year for a week and loved it. Or camp up somewhere for the week. We will be a little beached out by the time we get to Turkey after 2 weeks on Kef. I see you did Capadocia as well. We did Istanbul and Capadocia last August and loved it. Off to watch it now. Thanks again. Caz

Important things for Greek salad and ouzo: 1) Do not divide the salad into separate dishes, the salad is eaten in its own dish by everyone and this gives the opportunity to dip the bread in its juice, (beware, if you try it it is addictive and has a lot of calories). This habit also means family reunion, or close friendship, but if you meet strangers, then get some on your own plate. 2) How should ouzo be drunk? First we put 1/3 or 1/4 ouzo in the glass, then we put 2 or 3 ice cubes and 1/4 cold water or less if you let the ice cubes melt a little. The clear color will turn white and then it is ready to drink. Never drink ouzo before eating something, the taste changes 100%. Ouzo is usually drunk with seafood and slowly for maximum enjoyment.
