You’re not wrong there.

A setup movie is a great way to describe it. It definitely feels like they are planning a lot more.

I do think they’ll be another one. I think this is a franchise that either appeals to you or it doesn’t. I’ve seen very few in between. It’s definitely a franchise that’s not for everybody.

I really enjoyed this movie. It felt like they were gonna stab me in the back though towards the end, but thankfully Arthur pulled through.

A show about the Empire’s perspective could be interesting.

Just when I think it can’t get any worse, they release a new show that’s worse than the previous one. I have no expectations whatsoever for this show. Yesterday I finished Tales of the Empire and that was pointless too.

No problem if you didn’t like it. I’m honestly curious why you thought it sucked. I haven’t really heard anyone say they didn’t like it so it’s cool to hear a different perspective on the film.

It was better than I expected. At the end of the day, I thought it was fun.

That is definitely the best of the three prequels

I really had a good time with this movie. It has exactly what you want in a summer movie.

Yeah it was surprisingly good. It wasn’t perfect from a writing standpoint, but the other elements of the film really helped me enjoy it. I definitely think it’s worth seeing. At least me and my kids enjoyed it so take that for what that’s worth lol.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. Even though it’s a faith-based film I think this is the type of film that has a good balance and because of how it structured it, it is accessible to people from all walks of life.

@@Boblovesmovies 100% agree! They could have went too far into the faith aspect but really focused on the family’s journey through hardship.

I also thought it was one of the better made faith-based films. These films often don’t have the right balance between message and entertainment. As result you get films that are very cheesy. This one was cheesy not at all. It was extremely well-made, acted, and told an engaging narrative.

It is a little slow at first but you have to have the back story, so hang in there, you will be blessed!

Since it’s an adaptation, I’m sure there was some stuff that was changed to simplify the story. The movie I Can Only Imagine made some changes as well from the real story.

I was very impressed with this movie. It’s well-made and it’s a movie that the family can enjoy. I took my youngest daughter to see it and we both thought it was great.

I’ll probably check it out. I thought the trailer looked good, but I can see that they’re going to have the same problems. I didn’t think highly of the remake either. I really didn’t like that there were no emotions on the characters whatsoever. Plus, the original is such a classic that there’s no way a remake would live up to it.
