The Business Class amenity kit is also Shinola; but it's bigger and more structured than that one.

Finnair Business is now my favorite from Europe to many points throughout Asia. The seats, although not reclining, are extremely roomy, much more so than mechanized seats, AND you can sleep on your side!! Service is above average. Food is creative. Helsinki airport is very easy for connections. No reason not to try Finnair.

Really excellent video by the way this is way more expensive or equal to United Airlines Polaris business class between LHR and EWR. Although the latter would have poor service Hit or Miss food

Ba has better premium economy experience… although I’ve noticed on flights leaving America the catering can be hit and miss

Very nice review! I think the lenght of the flight explains the heavy breakfast. I don’t think many of us Finns eat that much in the morning haha. Would love to try this on long haul and might buy some avios since they are currently on sale. Unfortunately, the availability of award seats didn’t seem too great. Good to see you had a pleasant flight! 🙂

Nice report. Their on-screen menu is the best I've seen anywhere. Dinner looked quite good. Wireless charging is also a nice bonus I have not seen anywhere else. The non-reclining seat is very odd. Thanks for reporting on an airline we don't often see reviewed.

Thanks for TR! It looks the mousse 3:35 is made of buckthorn berries, a healthy super food in Finland :) Yeah the Finnish Marimekko is popular in Japan too, there are similarities between Finnish and Japanese design taste. P.S It was a bit hard to hear your voice in the video.

The longest delay is 24 minutes. Having worked for BA and in the industry for 26yrs plus. Europe does have huge issue for delays due atc etc

The delays are not necessarily BA's fault. There have been significant delays to every airline in Europe recently, ATC shortages, summer storms causing disruption etc. If you are on the aircraft and the doors closed the flight is ready to depart, so any delay from the point is due to external agencies .Waiting in the gate area or the terminal the delay will likely be down to BA as the aircraft is late from a previous flight or something like that.

Hello. Just to clarify!! Premium economy and economy class on AMERICAN AIRLINES do not have the same service at all. The premium economy gets a 2, 3, 2 seat configuration, with lots of legroom. Better seats, larger pillows/blankets, and your meal services are different than the economy class. Your meal tray (lunch and breakfast) has real china, freshly cooked food (not frozen like economy class) better dessert, and so on. So please before you give an airline a bad review, make sure you have all the facts. May I suggest that the next time you travel on AA, take a nice walk in the main cabin, and see what they really get!!

Speaking of Shinola. From the 1880s, it has been a very popular shoe polish (black or brown). Growing up, a popular put down was to say “you wouldn’t know the difference between sh*t and Shinola.”

How was the legroom and did the footrest help? How far can you tilt the seat back?

Shinola Detroit makes their amenity kit in business and first, DS & Durga is a hip brand from Brooklyn NY, making interesting fragrance and the lotions etc.

So nice to see more women doing these! The seat layout was very helpful. I would like a better view of the menu--flying ba soon, and curious as to what the options are; but all in all, very enjoyable video
