The Jeep excuse doesn't hold up when you consider that the WLA was manufactured to the end of the war. Why was it not discontinued if Jeeps were favoured?
🙇
What a joke. Have the balls to admit that there was no engineering involved as this was a direct copy of the BMW.
That's really a matter of opinion
The loader was often left out of the Shinhoto crew because it was too crowded.
👍
At least get 741s in every frame the pictures of 841s and European motorcycles don't belong in a 741 video
Ok. Asi som urobil chybu
no it was significant because it was uss indianapolis that delivered the atom bomb
yes
Got 2 minutes into this and gave up... terrible computer narration and 5 out of 6 of the images shown weren't of the Cromwell, but were of the Comet, so not too sure of any research that might have taken place...
I'm sorry you don't like the video
The M26 Purshing was indeed a Powerful Heavy Tank Buster, against the German Tiger & the Panther Tanks ,a Great Heavy Tank 😊
Yes, I agree
This AI voice is awful 😂
hm.....
Ah, so!
👍
This is very hard to listen to
Thank you for your opinion. I am working on improvement
Pershings were in aktion in the ardennes bulge ?????.
in my opinion yes
wrong boat
Then Google must be wrong, because that is the source of images for this submarine
The artificial narration is a boring, repetitive, meritless drone of questionable information and outright misinformation.
All information in the video is correct. So no misinformation
If it's supposed to be about the diesel boat from WWII then why so many pictures of the nuclear powered one?
Because it's AI-generated. Artificial intelligence, enabling lazy, worthless "content creators" on TH-cam for far too long. Whoever operates this supremely misnamed "History time channel" ought to be ashamed.
All the pictures are of the submarines that the video is about
@@enscroggs Images are from google. The images were not generated by AI
@@historytimechannel time 00:00 to 01:03 is CLEARLY the nuclear powered one as the narration gives the diesel boat's hull number ss-168 and the one in the picture is 571. Then back to 571 from 02:00 thru 03:03. The closest it comes to ACTUALLY mentioning SSN-571 is when they mention post-war development, but does not cite it directly.

The Pershing first saw combat in early 1945 in the European Theater during the battle for Remagen Bridge across the Lower Rhine on March 7, 1945, and even saw service on Okinawa in May.[3] However, they only saw limited service, with very few if any actually fighting with Axis armored vehicles. Typically, M26s were used to mop up remaining German troops and secure territory into Germany itself, and only 310 reached units before the war ended.
👍👍👍
Enter the Heavy The M26 Pershing was deployed rather late onto the battlefields of WWII, with the first 20 landing in the Belgian port of Antwerp in January 1945. These 20 tanks would be the only Pershings possibly seeing combat in World War Two, spread between the 3rd and 9th Armored Divisions, part of the First Army.
You are definitely not saying this correctly. there were only 20 of them in the war
@@historytimechannel Not saying that, so long as "in the war" excludes significant combat. The others arrived even later - unloaded a couple of weeks before the end in the West.

"M26 Pershing: Why America’s Heavy Tank Arrived Too Late for WWII" th-cam.com/video/i9CPGOTd0G4/w-d-xo.html
Because it was a natural development of tanks
@@historytimechannel And production didn't even start until NOVEMBER, 1944.
@@thomaslinton5765 But you know it's okay
@@historytimechannel The M-26 was OK, if equipped with an only fair engine and with weak mobility, but so were other tanks that did not make a significant impact on the course of the War. Centurion.
@@thomaslinton5765 👍
It was deployed in trivial numbers and had no impact.
Well, I have to disagree with you, but of course I respect your opinion
Facts. Just tell us how many saw combat.
@@thomaslinton5765 I do not have this exact information
The M-4 had sloped armor.
👍👍👍
The synthetic voice just ruins the whole thing.
I understand that the AI voice is not perfect, but it is improving every day
A picture of the successful S-40 would have improved the flow of this video. Keith Besherse
If the video is about the VS-300, why would I put a picture of the S-40 there?
@@historytimechannel because you described Sikorsky’s commercial success (which is how he was able to fund the helicopter project).
@@BaldGuy-Marketing 👍👍👍
If it is a flat twin it is not a 45 degree v. A flat twin is 180°!
ok 👍
Why the heck do you have the WLA in the thumbnail?
But that's not WLA
Robot voice, that's a thumbs down from me.
AI is improving very quickly and will soon replace many living voices
Couldn't properly pronounce the name of the Kolibri. Very distracting to say the least.
@@jahbad01 Sorry
@@historytimechannel Does not change the fact that this one is shit and it's lazy to use it.
@@carlalm6100 Oh yeah. I believe that you make the best videos in the world
FAKE AI Voice, typical of Russian Bait videos, Give this crap a Thumbs down, its all plagurized
Interesting film. I hadn’t realised that Kriegsmarine used them but that would make sense considering there were no German aircraft carriers. Typical Nazi solution to resort to technological innovation even if the war was lost.
Thank you. I try to make videos so that they are interesting for people and they learn something
The Achilles is an m10 just with the British qf 17 pounder gun as a modification

This post is like most AI created post . A lot of miss information. In both photos and facts
I'm sorry that you have that opinion, but I don't think so
An interesting piece absolutely ruined by having a robot read the script.
I know that the AI voice is not perfect yet, but it is getting better every day
A bit of U.S. Army history
yes 🙂
Cool subject. Pity that you had a machine read the script. Thumbs down.
AI is improving and soon it will talk better than a human
Nice Pics. Harley should have made limited production numbers of these per year. They would have sold a Few.
Yes, that's a good idea 🙂
So full of crap robot voice they make it sound like hd invented the suspension it was an exercise in what are the Germans using can make it better cheaper and made more quickly what are that designs faults do we need this or that it was all for the African campaign which ended sooner than what was planned
What Africa campaign? what are you saying?
What I am referring to is operation torch in ww2
@@johnmartin1114 ok
A horizontally opposed twin is 180*, not 45*. A lot of bad information in this video. A lot of the pictures also didn't match the timing of the script. Thumbs down.
:-(
So....the first thing you dhow is a WLA????
Nerozumiem. Co sa pytas?
Excelsior also built a folding scooter for British paratroops as well
Yes of course. It was super modern at the time
Yawn.
These are educational videos and not fun
OMG the Cushman was an overweight piece of junk and quite inferior to two equvalent British wartime bikes designed for air drop usage: the RE Flying Flea and the Wellbike, both being more compact, lighter and with much superior design & performance qualities, the RE bike being used extensively after the war, via army surplus disposal.
Yes I agree. Well, it's so ugly that I had to make a video about it 🙂
Almost no ground clearance
But it was one of the most used motorcycles during the Second World War
I like your content
Thanks
Your video isn't offensive, it's just a bit irritating. However, I must commend you for pointing out the critical damage in regard to the fuel polishing system, which would have prevented the Graf Spee from making it back to a European base. The other thing was the ammunition expended during the battle. Something like 80% of the 11-inch ammo had been expended, even though the Exeter had been severely damaged, and neither Ajax nor Achilles were in any shape to continue the fight, the British managed to convince the Germans that there was an overwhelming force weighting for them. Add to that Hitler telling then not to let the ship be interned, all led to the scuttling of the Spee.
Yes thanks
@@historytimechannel you're welcome, I do enjoy your channel, and for the most part you do a good job, on a wide verity of subjects, which is not easy., so thank you for presenting what is, for the most part, an informative and accurate account of things of historical interest to the average person.
