@ do you need the accuracy of the lidar? If you just need virtual tours you may not need either. I haven’t demo’d the Galois so I can’t comment on it’s performance but it would be great to avoid the hosting fees and monthly fees from Matterport. Price seems pretty close otherwise. I’ll try to get one and review it :)

Thanks for your note and I appreciate your seeing where it all converges! For my regular channel viewers the point you’re making is 100% true! These kids will have no tolerance for 2D static experiences…in just 10-15 years they are going to have tremendous purchasing power and will want to work/play/live in 3D. I would love to see my content in my kid’s game environment. Sansar has this and other platforms have it, I’m sure it will evolve for the masses (I should probably do a video about Niantic’s Scaniverse soon) :)

Yeah it’s a tough choice, but there is no alternative for hosting their processes models. After using it now since 2015 I believe it’s still indispensable for my business but it’s hard to get started for sure at the price point…

They’re fine indoors and outdoors but they don’t transition so they stay darker inside but they are a light lens. I don’t wear them at night like other „pink“ sunglasses you can get away with at parties, they’re too dark for that, but they’re fine if you’re just wearing them while running errands and driving…wear them every day! I love them

I usually put them up indoors but you can still wear them comfortably indoors, like at the airport, or when running errands, but probably at Target or something I would take them off. I wear these glasses every day and also for driving, they’re fab

Hey! You can try to reupload the current project with the QR but if you changed the height of your monopod (never change it during the shoot) I’m and can’t approximate it to the mm/cm the square footage will be off, it will still be possible to get a floor plan it will just be a bit less accurate. Two questions: a) did you ever change the height of it during the shoot and b) are you able to adjust the height to the exact same height you used last time? If it is possible to have the same monopod height then go for it. We had a similar issue yesterday and someone forgot to scan the attic and had to go back but eventually I got all the media I needed.

That’s a great point on dispersing the sound I hadn’t noticed that - I’m mostly using it on the plane with the AirPod Pros, but I’ll try it out with that in mind, planned on being in it tonight but got tired. Have you watched a movie together with someone in it? I have Hulu & Disney+ we should watch a movie together!!!

The R5’s are coming down in price because of the R5 Mark II coming from what I’ve heard, but if I were really using this set-up I would want R5C’s, and then the VR 180 lenses…so I mean for the 4 camera rig this would be at least $3K x4 + $2k x4, so $20K for just the cameras and then you’ll need the rest of the set-up. That said, guaranteed that Blackmagic camera will set you back a lot, probably this other camera which will allow you to shoot Canon native for Vision Pro would be a less expensive option. So frustrating! Wow what a headache. Did you try to see if your phone was detecting the WiFi signal? Or did you Check any of the apps like Drone Scanner to see if you’re transmitting? That has been one of the workarounds. Hmm…..

Are you able to get any audio from the mic’s to the receiver? Do you see a signal but it’s just not recording on the iPhone? Make sure you’re not muted on the mic’s…that’s an easy button to press and it can be turned off in settings so you don’t accidentally mute yourself. I would make sure that it’s not accidentally on mute, that cable should definitely work between the lightening and the transmitter.

Face the camera so you can see the digital display, the „forward facing“ lens is the one that does not display the readout

You can load from the field if you toggle on cellular but it’s very slow! I recommend doing it at home on WiFi, because before you can „finish“ the tour the photos need to synchronize to the cloud, so yes, definitely you can shoot as many tours as you need to during your work day and then upload later. :)

You can use an android tablet or phone for capture, and that is needed for creating the tours. The editing can be done on a tablet, phone, or a desktop (Mac or pc) and so I prefer to edit on a Mac laptop but the capture really needs to be done on a wireless tablet or mobile device. They merge stocks, so you get $2.75 of CGGP per one MTTR, and then $2.75 “cash” but maybe you can put it all towards CSGP. Wish I had the answers. I think people with a high purchase price will have a loss on the stock, so I’m not sure if it’s best to sell and buy back in if you believe in CSGP or if you just want to take the loss. 700 is a lot of shares brother! 😅
