The murders took place near where Markleville, Indiana is located. A historical marker is just southeast of Pendleton and east of Markleville on the north side of Indiana 38. The murder location is in cornfields just north of the sign. The marshy pond has long since been drained. I have looked for the burial sites of the 3 men who it was said are buried at the Pendleton Cemetery on top of the ridge overlooking Falls Park. (In Pendleton) There are no markers and they are not listed but I believe there are buried there.

Do a video of "Osanoman/Osonoman" an indian village massacred outside of cayuga, indiana. Information is hard to find, but the summary is this: the native men went on a hunting trip. While they were gone, a group of military settlers landed on the banks of the wabash and killed all the old, women, and children. Once the men returned to their village, they set out on the war path. The conclusion of this revenge trek is unclear, and has no real ending. Being from kingman, Indiana, i cant find local history that gives this incident any real conclusion. Maybe you can find something ive missed.
