This was the first meeting of the season for these two teams. Katy started out early with a foul on Caroline on the left side of the field. This is one of Kendall's lethal areas to kick a freekick from. Kendall dropped the ball in the upper left 90 putting Taylor up 1-0. Kendall also received a nice through ball pass and her speedy response beat the defense to the ball. She played the ball over the goalie barely saving it from going out of bounds by passing it to teammate Josey who easily taped it in the goal. That brought the score to 2-0 Taylor. While Kendall was subbed out, Katy managed to sneak one in but this was still a sound victory of 2-1 for Taylor. Kendall: 1 Goal and 1 assist.
