My rain lamp after fixing it up

I bought it without any string or oil in it. I restrung it with fishing line and filled it with mineral oil. It still did not work. Turns out the pump was all gummed up. I took it out and cleaned it all up and now it works!
What is happening here?

Mine is doing the same thing as of sometime last night it today. I have been using SanDisk Ultra micro as xc I class 10 64Gb and 128Gb. Both worked for a wile now neither of them seem to work.
So I messaged avermedia on face book and So far this is what they have told me.

Followed your advice below and got a SanDisk Extreme Plus 32GB 4K UHD with the little U3 symbol on it and I STILL can't get this thing to work in PC free mode. I ask, for the sake of my sanity, can you please just share the brand/type/link to the card you got so I can finally have peace? Thanks in advance
Note: This is on Xbox One. (PS4 owners will need to find instructions on how to turn of HDCP in their console settings) Following up to my own comment, it appears the red light issue was an HDCP block. Basically my console created an HDCP when I watched Netflix earlier in the day. Even though Netflix wasn't open and playing, and I had also manually quit the application, the console was still telling the capture card that it was putting out video under copyright protection. So, for anyone who has bought the super expensive mini sd card and still has the red light issue, go in and fully shut down your console completely via the settings menu. Once it turns back on, you should see a glorious blue glow. Also, be aware that this is probably going to be a constant issue if you use your console for more than gaming (who doesn't, am I right?) until the firmware for the capture card is patched to recognize closed apps and/or the XB1 is patched to stop sending an HDCP block for closed and quit apps.

Hello. How did you eventually solve this problem? Or just switch to a different model/brand ? I appear to have the same issue right now. It won't work. Even though it did before. just keeps being red. Also it doesn't pass through audio anymore. It stopped during a recording which is a real bummer :( Anyway did you eventually solve the problem? Or give up. Let me know I'm about to return it for a refund or a new one.

Mine turned out to be that I had the wrong SD card. I needed the ultra fast sucker. Once I spent the money to get a really good one it started working beautifully.
