This worked for me in 2023

I'm almost there. My Roku connects to the network I made. Available Networks gets a green check; Wireless Connection gets a green check; Internet Connection gets a red X. And I can't view any channels because there is not Internet. My VPN (PIA) is on and I can get to the Internet on my PC, just not on the Roku, which is connected to the PC visa the VPN hotspot I just shared.

Be careful with free VPNs A lot of them sell your data for money (since you’re not paying for it) Also most stuff can see you’re on a vpn, tell whoever has your ip you’re on a vpn, what vpn and more info about the vpn
