I have one of these security lights. It isn't working. I bough the house a year ago and it worked initially. It has stopped working. Is there something I can check?

Kind of sad… ignorant at least, and certainly false advertising. I have been messing with this light, trying to get it to orient so that the “down fire” lights fired down while eave mounted. It will not. You can not simple switch the light orientation either because the are wired through with a connecter that you can pull through the housing of the light. Please stop advertising this light as “Eave mountable” you can, but it doesn’t function how you designed it.

2:44 even this awkward example is the best case scenario. In my experience, you really need 5 hands at this stage, and even then it's a battle. I hope that, by now, Good Earth has recognized the folly of getting four separate points aligned and held against gravity, and then having someone else push perpendicularly, hard enough to overcome the friction imposed by the two people keeping the four points from slipping/falling. I can't fathom how this design made it to production when other parts of the fixture are well done, and there are several better options for securing the fixture to the frame.

What part of the dial am I to read. The dial is white so is the background and the wording and numbers. There is a little tab but if that the marker. They need a better marker.

I am unclear where this schedule is stored, on the phone or on the light. If my cellphone ( with the app ) weren't in proximity of the light, would the light retain some onboard schedule that knows when to change?

These lights suck

My kitchen light must have 2.4 Ghz. After an hour on the phone I was able to get my ISP to split my router into 5 Ghz AND 2.4. The light works through the app now, and all the other devices are still on 5 Ghz.

I believe that is an illegal installation as romex cannot be left exposed like that.

Hi, my lights turn on at 5pm every day even though there isn’t a schedule and they don’t turn off at night. Any ideas why this is happening?

When it’s set on dusk till dawn that means it roll turn on with motion starting on dusk all the way to dawn ? Basically saying will it detect motion starting sun down to run up

There must be 1/2 inch of bare wire sticking out of the connector. Very bad practice. It looks like they started with about an inch of wire stripped back. Guessing to strip back 1/2 inch or less of installation. Doesn’t look like there is a release tab for the connector so experimenting with some extra wire would not work. Guess just keep returning the lights till you get the correct length. A strip gauge on the connector would be helpful.

Did you see how much bare wire was sticking out of the connector? How about a strip gauge to know what the proper strip length is.

This product sucks balls

Yeah well...... I've seen so many of these type of lights that don't work anymore.

Motion Detection goes off for no reason even when I set it for 5 ft. Detection. I had 25 alerts this morning and its just the first night. Ill probably send this back. Alerts go off every 2-5 minutes, very annoying since Im looking out the window and see no movement outside but it still sensing movement. To bad I really wanted to to like this product. Day 2- woke up to 74 motion detection alerts on my phone.

It took all the patience I had not to throw my phone and contractor talked me out of returning it 3 times. Esthetic reasoning 🙄 final got it connected to wifi. 1 day later the lighy disconnected from wifi. We didn't install a light switch so the light is stayed on. Gonna try to uninstall and repair with wifi and app. Wish me luck..😤

I have a question my area light dial setting broke off but it’s still at 3 hrs so will all I have to do is just put the light into test mode and continue the the process?

This light pairing BS is ridiculous!!! I will not be as kind to this bastard light taking it down and back to the store as I was installing it. It sucks.

I also have this model. Since it is a downfiring model, it seems that the light heads cannot be oriented so that the shorter part of it faces down. It shows this in the manual.

Do you know if in the "dual bright mode" the continuous low-light is exactly half the brightness of the maximum brightness (i.e. when the motion sensor is activated), or its a lot less bright?

Great vid’👍 our issue pertains to the nuisance of the light not obeying its settings. Namely, it turns on for quite short bursts, then turns off. So, of the 3 settings: day/night, duration and movement sensitivity, the duration of the light being on is pretty brief (set to max on time). Any suggestions? Thx💡 Rudy

How to get the motion lights to turn off, and come on when there's a motion

If you buy this light, you will wish you had not. I’ve had it for several months now and have spent combined hours connecting and reconnecting it. At a certain point, eating the $100 it cost and going and going and getting a different light has got to outweigh the ridiculous amount of time I’ve spent dealing with this one. Garbage product with no customer support.

Here is a suggestion for an upgrade, which I would need. My existing light box is much closer to the wall on one end of the walk in closet. Your design assumes that the existing electrical box is centered on the ceiling. Consider adding additional electrical holes on either side of the screwed in frame for installations of off-center boxes. This would also include measuring how much space you would need from the wall to slide the light on to the frame. Sure, you can send me a unit after you add the changes. After reading the reviews, it should be Bluetooth and hold dimmable settings without having to go to the app each time. Are those features coming?

This light lasted 7 years, with light use about 4 hours a day. That's about 10K hours, not the 50K on their web page. I'd love to know why - hardware has not standardized a connector, to simply plug in a new fixture - this light company doesn't just sell replacements for the LED disk, rather than have to go through this new fixture replacement BS.

You might want to turn the power off before starting work.

There is a red light blinking on the right side of the PIR sensor… what is that all about? My light is not shutting off
