Today I am learning about the different coordinate systems on a Kuka robot. This video shows me getting familiar jogging the robot in various coordinate systems.

In this video, I use an SDSK servo motor to make some simple, precise movements. I practice jogging, point-to-point, etc. Using a USB mini, I can connect directly to the servo motor to program it.

In this lab, I was essentially assigned to showcase my understanding of the robot work envelope, its coordinate systems, etc. By programming it to move all the way up a pipe, and back again, without ever touching the sides. In case you can't tell from the video, the ring never touched the sides.

In this video I utilize the PTO capabilities on a click PLC to send signals to a stepper drive, to drive a stepper motor. the total inputs used were 2 buttons to control the direction of the motor. The only output connected to the plc was the Stepper drive.

In this lab I programmed a Kuka robot to pick up a cube, place it, spin around the opposite side, repeat. This is my first time ever programming a Kuka to open and close its gripper.

Measuring the SFM of a belt

In this video I demonstrate a "Pick and Place" program I created for a Fanuc robot. This lab will involve creating and debugging a basic pick and place program. Using a pin and a block with two holes, the robot will cycle moving the pin between the two locations, with a circular movement between each placement. This will involve simple linear motions, gripper I/O, and the world coordinate system.
