Some thoughts include: How relationships involve “keeping on [doing something together”]. How “faithful are the wounds of a friend” b/c the friend wants to steer you away from the “profuse… kisses of an enemy” (Proverbs 27:6) How Christ has specific criticism and abundant encouragements.

“The human heart is a hungry, consuming thing.” persecution vs. assimilation. (One line and a point pf discussion during the talk.)
