I remember watching this with my girlfriend back when it came out in the theatre. I shed some tears when Barbosa sacrificed himself to ensure the safety of his daughter. Fast forward I married my girlfriend and we have a son. Rewatching this and it still hits so damn hard. Any parent would do everything for their child.

That's just epic. How I like it

The best part is how Salazar is seen throughout the whole movie eerily smiling, so confident, like he's some god, then by the end you can see he's a man again, who struggles and is afraid of dying. Great acting by Javier, he carried this movie.
