@@heatherboyer3290 we sell a fog light kit that comes with a wiring harness to install fog lights on models that did not come with them.

The brake lights on the RAV4 are limited to the outer section of the taillights. At night, the inner section of the taillights illuminates with the headlights, but during the day, when the headlights are off, the inner section remains unlit and does not function as a brake light. This harness allows the inner section of the taillights to function as brake lights during the day when the headlights are off. At night, when the headlights are on, the inner section returns to its normal function and no longer acts as a brake light. The primary goal of this modification is to improve brake light visibility during the day. Hope that makes sense.

@@mrmurdock6994 Gotcha. We haven't seen anything out there and not sure if there's a market for that. We'll look into it though.

We haven't noticed it at all. The sponge would compress either way. You can definitely trim or remove them if you want.

Good questiion. Nothing changes with the functions of the lights at night. The harness is merely meant for better day visibility when braking.

This was installed on our Hybrid so you're good. I don't foresee the harness not working on gas models. This should be compatible on all 5th Gen RAV4's.

At 4:53 I display the Posi-Taps that we include with the lights.

I haven't had a chance to get my hands on other models to see what the differences are. Feel free to email us photos and/or video of what you see and we can work with you on what is compatible.

Our XLE has built in LEDs into the headlights so they cannot be replaced.

@@crisantogarcia6646 ride quality did not change at all. I did a quick check and don't see any reason they wouldn't fit. I'll do some more digging to be 100%.

@@crisantogarcia6646 I don't foresee any reason our kit won't work on Hybrid models. The strut mounts in the front and rear upper insulators are the same part numbers which our kit mates with so you should have no issues. The actual springs and shocks/struts are different since the Hybrid is heavier. The rest appears to be the same.

@@musaadedibu9316 Did you try the multiple harnesses version like these? I've tested a few other harnesses out there. The single harnesses out there do not operate correctly. This requires more wiring but works as intended.

@@musaadedibu9316 sounds good. The way these are designed I don't foresee them not working on Canadian models.

Yes, you can close the fuse box without having to drill a hole or trim the box.

Not that I can think of. The only possible thing might be the wiring color but that's easy to decipher. I would be surprised if there was any difference though. Feel free to email us if you need installation help.

Agreed. I wish there was an easy or cheap way to upgrade those models to have lighting on the hatch.

I purchased a 2022 RAV4 XLE and a month later I had to go on a road trip. About an hour into the road trip the PCS off light came on and a message that the PCS was unavailable, so that also knocked out the cruise control. I have reason to believe that the front bumper had been removed and replaced prior to my purchase of the car and I have since been reading up on it in the owner's manual and it states that after the front bumper has been removed and reinstalled that the radar has to be recalibrated, which of course can only be done by taking it to a dealership. What has been your experience with this?

We installed a fog light kit on our RAV4. You can see the installation here - th-cam.com/video/qcRC-Z63Io8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1tAsqbYoFTs6yRds&t=42 If you want to take the bumper off, that will be a good reference, but you should be able to access the fog housings from underneath.

yeah i thought the same, if the vehicle is parked in a dark spot, there is nothing left to reflect oncoming traffic

​@@nerd3xdI can't imagine too many parked cars are getting hit due to lack of rear reflectors at night. I would assume it's more to do with distracted or drunk drivers.

@@derwinjax not this specific kind of product but I will have something very soon that will delete the chrome in the same areas for the RAV4.

There's not really anything out there unfortunately and I do agree that the factory exhaust is meh looking. This is the only thing I've seen online but I'm not sure where you'd source it - th-cam.com/video/8LADsfy49p0/w-d-xo.html Upgrading the exhaust will most likely be a custom deal so I'd hit up a few of your local muffler shops to see what they can offer.
