How To Use AI as a Sport Scientist & Sports Coach - Join the Future of SPORTS TECH now!
The APPLICATION of any data or sport science 📊 WILL ALWAYS rely HEAVILY on the HUMAN CONNECTION and knowledge!
In the 62nd episode of The Training Science Podcast, Paul and Jo also discuss
✅ that working as a woman in male dominated sports is definitely possible and can be very positive!
🙄 how little we know about specifics of female physiology in exercise and sports, and how it is essential that we purposefully design more scientific and practical work for this;

Show notes - Episode 62 Training Science Podcast
1. You don’t know what you don’t know, and that is ok. If you have no clue how to reach more women in your sport science “insert here” (conferences, team, group, research group etc.), then reach out to some of the groups mentioned by Jo, to herself or any other professional health specialist that you know that is NOT male.
2. Diversity is extremely important for countering groupthink, developing critical work and think space that does have a variety of backgrounds, as well as directly contributes to tangible outcomes. But we cannot just “wait for it to happen” - we have to purposefully plan and implement it!
3. AI and the increased trend of it is nothing other than simply another tool that we can leverage in exercise and sport science (as well as everywhere in life!) to our advantage. Don’t even start thinking about “the dangerous” that naysayers are spreading around, but keep asking yourself the question of “how can I use this to my advantage?”.

The 5 ESSENTIAL HIIT types you NEED to USE
มุมมอง 1.4K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Some HIIT sessions are nothing else than just pure pain 😒🔥 , aren’t they? Well, they should NOT BE like that. Although there is good reason (AND science!) to do an “atomic bomb” 💣, that is, a super high-intensity interval training session every then and now, it should DEFINITELY not be the main purpose of HIIT 🛑. Our 3 physiological targets 🎯 (see Episode 2), as in the aerobic, anaerobic and ne...

The impact of TIME ⏱️, INTENSITY 🔥 or HOW OFTEN 🖩, you do them is often ignored or forgotten, and these factors need to be implemented in line with CONTEXT (see Episode 1). But can’t you just TRAIN HARD all...
