Seven years ago I met my miracle. She is my “first love” and we have both fought for our lives together in ways I can only call miraculous to say the least. The sad thing is that through all the battles, this may become my final one. I have no idea why God spared my father or even why he has spared me so many times before, I only know in spite of all the chaos of the past few years, Jenny has fought beside me tirelessly. If tomorrow becomes my last, I could have not asked for a better partner. She has had to take up my slack at work and be the “other” to me in so many ways. I can rest knowing that in the past seven years I have loved and been love. Thank you God for all you have given me. I will never forget the words you spoke audibly to me so many years ago when you said to me, “ Son, you are selling yourself short, I have so much more in store for you than this”.
