Should the numbers on my screen be the same as these?

The pastic part that connects the steel shaft to the engine broke off a couple of times when tilting the engine out of the water. Apparently the steel shaft is blocked somewhere but I can't fix the problem. Has anyone experienced this problem?

You are sitting on the wrong side - by your own design. Outboards are usually left-side tiller, meaning that you sit of starboard and throttle with your left wrist. The way you have the throttle configured results in the proper "wrist up" (clockwise, decreasing power to neutral stop) and "wrist down" for full throttle. This is a must. So... if you sit on portside, given that this unit's tiller is central, then the throttle is unnaturally reversed. ePropulsion have NOT allowed users to optionally reverse the throttle direction depending on your favoured side. Why not?????? It would have been so easy via the throttle calibration procedudure, but no - not to be. A bit MISS.

How far below the waterline should the prop be? What is the maximum transom height that the eLite can be used on? Only knowing the "shaft length" is no help.

Why the HELL can't this be used to optionally reverse the throttle direction for those of us who right-hand steer an outboard? I sit on port side and steer with my dominant arm - the right. When my muscle memory kicks in to kill throttle I unfortunately apply what's natural to me, i.e. "wrist up" to kill power and inadvertently hit full throttle every time. It's not something that I want to "get used to" either. I'll soon sell my Spirit 1+ and go back to an internal combustion motor that lets me throttle the way my head wants it to in an emergency.

I have four figures on the battery setting page. At the top is the battery voltage (48.0) then battery type (Li) then another figure that is also set to 48.0. What is this? At the bottom there is 0130AH Can anyone help? Epropulsion customer service is absolutely non-existent. Thanks!

this is not a very helpful video . The engine is very expensive and purchasers deserve a far more explanatory video set up in an actual boat.

I wonder, when are you gonna update the spirit 1.0 plus. Bring on the spirit 2.0! No more cables, and better range. Jihaa!

These details should have been in the instruction booklet. At first I thought I'd been sent the wrong controller. Also, the cable dock underneath, has no waterproof seal and so is exposed to corrosion or damage.

Yeah mine hasn't paired yet, taken several attempts, now trying to charge it via usb.

So I should adjust the settings that appear to set accurately by the producer, but are slightly different to this video?

How do you get the boat in the water without crushing the motor?

If you don't bother using the communication cable, is it possible to hook your own 48v 100ah lithium-ion with BMW for 100A/3000W? I want to have a powerfull outboard like this but i'm not interested in buying such a heavy and expensive battery. It looks good but it has to be fun as well.

You guys make great products but are horrible in directions and video's. I simply want to buy a Spirit motor 1.0, attach it to my dingy and use wireless steering and no one can answer what I actually need to accomplish this. And why do you guys insist on using the smallest font possible for your instructional videos too!

are there any videos that show how best to install these heavy batteries on a boat? Mines a small 24' sailboat with limited space - do they need to be in a rack/fixed to the boat to keep from sliding in heavy seas - do you have any photos/videos of various installs etc to get a good idea of how to best install these ?

Your line drawing shows the + output connected to the - terminal and the - output connected to the + terminal. Does the charger automatically stop charging when the battery is charged?

It's critically emergency to find a easiest way to do it. Good luck

Your system is really complicated, is really time to find a way for charging the battery via a plug and play system. Imagine going to a marina or leisure harbour and always charging the battery with screw and unscrew this is not life. I'm waiting for the next improve... Good luck! 👍
