As someone who works and studies and has little time for gaming, I see merciful mode as a useful tool for certain parts of the game. I do enjoy the challenge provided by the SMT games a lot, so I only use it for grindind since it makes it MUCH quicker, and when fighting encounters while progressing the game normally, i'd bump to Normal or even Hard if the area feels to easy. To me, it's more of a huge time saver than anything else.

To all those who don't know see this adn don't know what is so hard. You have to win 5 pandemonium stages in a row for hundun to unlock as a playable, so in case you win 4 but lose the 5th the count resets, having you play 5 in a row again in the early stages hundun is basically like that meme "Whatever you do, do not pursue Lu Bu" and since Pandemonium is basically Chaos with 2x loot you basically play not very hard but hardcore difficulty.

A quick heads up for anyone trying to do co-op with friends, they have to have the side mission unlocked also. If they don't have it unlocked the side mission in question cannot be selected. 😒 Also thanks for the views and likes 😊, i appreciate it 🙏
