Great run by a great player. It’s possible that if that run didn’t happen Oklahoma would of won the game of the century and also the national title. I wasn’t born until 1978 but I’ve studied the 71 team and looked at the numbers . The defense that year was so good. The final poll had 1.Nebraska 2.Oklahoma 3.Colorado 4.Alabama. The Big 8 had the top 3 teams in the final poll and Nebraska beat Alabama in the Orange Bowl. Nebraska in 95 beat 4 teams that finished in the top 10 that year Florida, Colorado, Kansas State, and Kansas. I don’t know which team is better. I like them both. Just think if Nebraska beats Miami in 83, it would be very likely that the 1983 team would also be considered by many as the greatest of all time. Nicknamed “the scoring explosion” that year, 30-31 dam Miami.

@@HuskerMinnie Thanks for the kind words! MAGA MAGA was actually the first video I uploaded on TH-cam back in March when I started this channel. Originally, the channel was meant to showcase original, politically charged music-hence the name PoliJam (a blend of "Political" and "Jam"). My goal was to create music that was not only patriotic but also thought-provoking. In addition to the twenty or so songs I currently have on my channel, I had about 15 more that touched on the importance of the upcoming election, or compared Trump’s four years in office with what I see as the disastrous four years under Biden. Unfortunately, TH-cam either asked me to delete those songs, claiming they violated guidelines, or they outright removed them and followed up with an email notifying me of the deletion. Yesterday, TH-cam also deleted MAGA MAGA along with two other songs. If you've been looking for the track and couldn’t find it, I apologize. Luckily, I still have the song saved and would be happy to send it to anyone who wants it. I’ve written many more songs that I believe are even better than MAGA MAGA, but creating videos for them seems pointless if TH-cam is just going to take them down. The only songs I think I have left on the platform that mention Trump are Freedom Won’t Die, Transformation, California Leavin’, and maybe a couple more.

Um I never once called him a traitor! I referred to him as a sellout.

Well I was planning to use an “outlaw country” music style for this song cause I thought it sounded better. But when I gave my wife a few different samples with these lyrics this was the one she picked.

Yes, it’s a shame how Nebraska can have a dominating program for 35 -40 years with coaches doing things the right way and promoting hard work and discipline and can’t get a 30 for 30. But then a program like Miami “Convict U” that gets a 30 for 30. Goes to show how the values in this country have dropped.

To be honest I never really thought about that when making the songs. The winning attitude and excitement that Coach Rhule has brought back to the program, is what inspired the Husker tunes. I never really thought anyone else would enjoy them much. I’ve had several messages asking me the same thing. I’m just now starting to look into sone possibilities. Yes the coach that started it all. Without Devaney coming to Lincoln in 1962 you can forget about the sellout streak, you wouldn’t know the name Tom Osborne, forget the 5 national titles, forget the blackshirt tradition. Bob Devaney was the game changer for the Huskers for the next 40 years. You can’t look at Tom Osbornes success without first looking at what Devaney built and left Osborne with. I was born in 1978 and never seen Devaney on the sidelines, but it’s super easy for me to do my Research and in my opinion I’d say Devaney was Nebraska greatest coach, and Osborne is right behind him. I believe with the 400 Consecutive sellout coming up the game should be dedicated to honor Bob Devaney. I made the song and video to honor him. Can’t believe it’s been 27 year’s sense we lost him. @@PoliJam24 coach came at the right time. Coach Jennings was a tremendous recruiter and he left the cup of full of gifted athletes, Dennis Claridge, Bob Brien just to name 2. Thule did not have that gift and the world of college football was different. Coach use to say that you win with offense but you win championships with defense. Defense was our trade mark and it wasn’t until toward the end did he have great offenses. As long as we had the ball the opponent didn’t thusly long boring drives….3 yards and a cloud of dust but people loved it. Rhule will be ok but patience is the key word here. 6 maybe 7 and with luck 9 wins but n the national scene gotta be patient. Look what Bill Snyder did at K=State….he followed Coach Devaney’s pattern. Those folks never knew winning now they revel,in it. Nothing big Judy bowl games every year snd lots of fun. So have some fun fun, look for the positive and let it grow. Coaches are always moving looking fir better jobs and more money, Ruhle is happy now but if you remember both coach Devaney and Tom had long time loyal assistance. Tony White is the real deal but he won’t stay. Gotta have consistency but let’s be happy….things are looking better.
