In popping battle. The pop is the main ingredient. So you have to judge by creativity, dancing ability, groove and accenting the music but most importantly is being able to hit and pop. Now should it be judge strictly off of that fact, no but when you have ppl like salah in this case and a lot of times after this battle salah is a str8 hip hop dancer with powermoves and tricks. So just like greenteck it’s about innovating within that pocket and exploring different areas of popping but you can’t throw away popping bc there are other competitions where you can boogaloo, house, footwork, tut, etc so in a popping battle utilizing those other styles is cool but you cannot disregard someone who has a great popping game and can use other styles to their disposal. Don’t really care for Nelson all though now he is really crazy in the popping game but he did great just emjay against salah
