Your 2024 83kg Junior World Champion is Barbell Coalition Athlete Manson Adagu! 🥇
Following his win at this year’s British Junior Nationals, Manson flew to Malta to challenge for the 83kg throne.
Starting off the day with a 280kg squat, Manson solidified himself in the race for gold.
After pressing 185kg for a PB on the bench press, Manson was 5kg behind Italian Gabriele Bellomo.
It all came down to the final pull, with Bellomo securing his third deadlift at 330kg, Manson loaded 337.5kg; a British Deadlift Record - the pull for everything.
Styling his way to an 802.5kg total with a backflip to end the day, he took home the crown and gold medal for team GBR!
