Jack Clarke isn't good enough - that's the hard facts. I want him to succeed, we paid a lot of money for him, and perhaps we'll see him shine in the Championship next season. He has to contribute more, he must do better than he currently is. If he's so talented, lets see it. Glimpses isn't good enough, we can't carry players and that includes emerging players with potential as the future is now. I hope he proves me wrong I really do.

He is clearly a quality player in terms of potential, he’s proved that for Sunderland, but he is young and hasn’t had enough time to play and adapt into the premier league. He’s also not played in position.

We have seen glimpses of what he can do. He is gonna be one of the players that I hope stays if we go down, he would be a cheat code for us in the championship

I feel for him but apart from maybe cup games i don't see him playing for the rest of the season. He hasn't been able to adjust to a slightly different role.

He physically can’t compete at this level and he’s not quite fast enough or skilful enough to make up for this weakness. I feel for him but I think it would have already happened for him if was going to.

Unfortunately, he seems to consistently run into congested areas and not release the ball when he should. Either wrong selections or unfortunately poor execution... I think we should at least loan him out or just cut our losses to free up space. It seems like we are trying to ram as many wide/ no. 10s into the squad as possible...

He’ll come good I’m sure but currently when he plays, he looks like a youth player out there. Although an excellent footballer, his decision making is his worst flaw. Really needs to mature, and I don’t see him doing it within this current squad. Which is all good; it’s just that we paid a tidy fee for him. McKenna needs to forget the fees and see things how they are on the pitch - and that’s Broadhead and others are playing much better. Send Jack out on loan, or don’t feature him.

Too slow, no urgency, no better than what we already had. Hasn’t taken any of the opportunities he’s had. He’s had half a season and hasn’t impressed at all. Nowhere near standard of Broadhead.

I see a guy using his shorts as a fashion statement. He needs to sort out his priorities.

Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, im sure McKenna would love to stick with the boy's that performed miracles the last 2 years, but unfortunately its now obvious the PL is a bridge too far for most of them, alot of new signings were needed, some aren't always going to work out unfortunately.

These are professional athletes, they should be able to play two games in four days. Too many changes for City game, consistency is key.

Just when we had a settled team that were getting results, he tried to be smart and switched it all around. If there is one thing we've learn this season that a 50:50 mix of legacy players and fancy pants johnny come lately seems to work the best. Woolfie and Chappers weren't even on the bench

Had to, games 3 days apart.

A masterclass in Premier football and we were the students. But this is the way to learn. We were playing one of the best teams I the league almost any one of which probably cost more that the entire town squad. We will get more epxerience with each game and we will improve. You have to crawl before you can walk. This whole outfit, owners, staff and squad have belief in themselves and we after a twenty plus hear absence fro top flight football it was always going to be a steep learning curve. But we are humble and willing, giving our best no matter who we are playing. We can walk tall and we will prevail. COYB. 👍👍👍

Nobody gifted us a stadium, we had to give the local council Maine Road and our old platt lane training ground. And any changes from when it was used in 2002 commonwealth games we had to pay for along with a percentage of any gate over 34,000. So hardly gifted i think you'd agree.

You had to admire City. Their stars, De Bruyne, Harland and Foden performed as expected, Edison in goal was immaculate, Kovovich dominated midfield, but the one who impressed me most was Doku. He ran Town ragged. McKenna even risked Tuanzebe in the latter stages in an attempt to shore up the defence. As they say "park it and move on".
