Thats a Road King Custom which was only made 2004-2005. It had cast wheels instead of spoked wheels, it was lowered 2 inches, it had buckhorn handlebars which are very comfortable, no cruise control, no passing lamps(those were added). I see the chrome wind deflector has been removed from the nacelle. Those bags are also specific to the custom as no other road king had those special bags.

I recently bought a 21 year old vengeance custom chopper the only thing that isn't stock is the seat and the pipes I wasn't sure about the motor in it so I called S&S and gave them the serial number they told me yep that's a 113 super sidewinder super stock motor that motor you have is our 120h.p. package to think over 20 years later people are still trying to achieve this makes me very happy to have purchased this motorcycle in mint condition with 4,000 actual miles for $6,500 you made my day🙂🙂🙂

My 17 Softail slim s has cruise control

I have also always considered this bike to be underrated, some fellow even told me once it was a poor handling bike but I bet it handles way better than a breakout or an m8 fatboy; I'm not a fan of touring bikes, but I do like the stance of the street glide and I believe the sport glide looks like a small street glide, it looks so cool when you take off the bags, the passenger seat an leave that fairing, moreover when you strip it all down. I would be in the market for a used one if not were by the fact it only received the 107 engine. Already been there and I would rather go with the 114 at least, much more now that they offer the 117 engine standard on some of the cruiser bikes. Anyways I believe it is a damn fine piece of a harley softail, indeed too underrated, in fact I like it a lot more than the heritage with the 114 engine; cheers! 🍻

Harley hit the mark when the RG3 came out last year, but this is an ugly color. Many of the 2024 bikes were a real let down.

Not underrated here in the UK, in fact one of the best selling models and has been for 5 years. Never met an owner yet who doesn't love it. 👍

I'd fit since it's got forwards. Don't care much for fairings anymore... and promised myself I'd never have another bagger, but it's a cool bike. I am happy for now.

And it deserves to be underrated. 1. You don't put forward controls on anything that has 'Sport' as part of its name. 2. You don't put a relative short shock (low lean angle) on anything that has the word 'Sport' as part of its name. 3. You don't offer a 114 or 117 on a bike that has 'Sport' as a part of its name. 4. You don't put a comfortable seat for both rider and passenger on a bike that's intended to be used for longer distance riding. 5. Wind protection from the faring is rubbish (so lacking compared to say a MS Road Warrier faring). 6. The additional price for those saddlebags is ridiculous. Hence, a fail from HD - which was corrected with the release of the LR ST, which is what this underrated should have been in the 1st place. HD missed the mark, not reading what customers wanted in a Sport/Touring model.

It's because of those idiotic different sized bags. I mean what those morons at the Harry Davidson clothing company thinking?

A baby Road Glide. You nailed it. That's also my opinion. To be honest, I don't like the creamy colour. I preferred the grey one but I was unable to buy one since it is not in the catalogue for 2023 so I now live with a black one.
