Did this set up rub the upper control arm at full lock? I have the exact same tire and size but a more negative offset wheel that sticks out which I don’t like since it’s throwing rocks up onto the body so I was thinking of picking up the midnight edition wheels. I recall that on my stock wheels with my level I could see rub marks on the upper control arm. Any rub marks on these?

Got same truck same setup all black looks amazing . Upgrading my tires from 275-65-18 to this and was wondering if it would rub thanks 👍👍👍

I've got the same truck but true north midnight edition, 3 inch straight pipe, afm disabled and getting my rough country level kit put on in 2 days. I'm looking to get the same size tires. Glad to know they don't scrub.

Not at all. Put 50k miles on this setup and it never once rubbed on anything.
Which Mbrp exhaust is that? You should make an exhaust vid, sounds Goodman. Looks good too

Stock. Which if I had to guess, they would be zero offset.
I have the same problem. New carb, good fuel, full air, new plug, no idle. :(

I have the same truck and want to keep the same rims but want to have some poke would you recommend spacers or would they rub?
They will 100% rub with spacers. I am against spacers as I have 1st hand experience with them on a different truck. If you go that route, plan on doing some serious trimming and plan ahead for rust.

PROBLEM SOLVED - After messing with the governor and control arm that sits on it, I finally got it to run better. Not perfect, but acceptable. There is still a 1-2 second lag on the original startup, but it actually always starts up and drives now. I ended up loosening the throttle arm on top of the governor, rotated the throttle arm clockwise, and then retightening the bolt that holds the throttle arm secured on the governor. I adjusted it 2-3 times to get a noticeable smoother transition from idle to drive.

@@Tiretrack CAI is the only new mod. Still drives exactly as it should. Still the best tires on the market IMO

Hello you didn't mention anything about wheel spacers I noticed the rough country website says to use a .25 spacer with their leveling kit to use the factory OEM wheels. I ordered the 2 inch level hoping I dont need spacers either, I also have a 2017 Silverado

What do you mean by "Stock" leveling kit? There is no such thing as a "Stock" leveling kit.
Nice truck..Is there any rubbing on full turn? I got 2” rough country leveling kit on my truck but not sure if 275/70/18r fits with out scrubbing and rubbing
Zero rubbing. I’ve put roughly 10k miles on it with this setup and it has never once rubbed.

What brand 2” just bought the 18 midnight
Andrew DeCicco Type in Yotamotor on amazon and you’ll find it. Don’t be dumb and waste your money on a name brand more expensive kit. At the end of the day all it is is a block.

How you like these tires? I literally just ordered them and I’m nervously looking to see if they’re gonna rub on a 2014 Silverado. Same size and I have the 2 inch leveling kit😂
Do you seriously not rub whatsoever? Reverse? Full lock? Full lock in reverse?
I love these tires. They are silent on the road and the ride is smoother than stock. I will be putting these tires on every truck I have going forward.
Zero run whatsoever. No trimming. No modifications. Trust me I was worried about it too

Nice👍. I went with the 2" RC kit. It will be good for the time being. Later on Ill go with the 3.5 or 4" kit from them. I also ordered the dual mbrp kit. Hows you truck been treating you?
It’s been great so far. The reason I went 2 inch level is because I didn’t want to do a Diff drop or purchase UCAs. It rides better than OEM now. The General Grabbers are a TON quieter and smoother than the stock wranglers. I’m just glad I didn’t have to trim anything. Love the truck! Hope yours is running smooth too!
@@CornerCowboys thats great, ya I wasn't about to cut up the new truck. I was going between the 4in kit and the mbrp. But don't have the $$ for rim's and tires yet, and didn't want to have skinny leg syndrome lol enjoyomg3the truck otherwize.
