I come from Romania, and I am a self taught kalimba player, who loves mountain hikes as well. Oftentimes, I bring my kalimba with me on my hikes, since I enjoy playing in nature.
My other hobbies are foreign languages, reading books aloud, travelling, spending time in nature.

It took me a while to learn to play Handel's Passacaglia. They say that the greatest passacaglias tend to be tragic, and this may have a seed of truth in it, since, while I was learning it, my father suddenly passed away.
Yet, sadness is part of life, too💔. I guess I'll remember this song as a sad one.

Actually, it was not a great difference in altitude, just a little above 300 meters. The hike in Piatra Craiului was tougher, that was more than 900 meters difference in altitude. This trail is a plateau trail, so the plains you see, with the sheep grazing, are actually high altitude already. But it is spectacular, and it has some exposed areas, with deep abyss if one does not pay enough attention. Yet, on good weather, it is pretty aproachable.
