I'll try it with my current project, it seems awesome, great job 👍
Nice, can you create full stack app such as kids drawing app with sketch template, or an app like ProCreate. Hope to see long form content from you guys!
this is so great. i have a question. how do you go about limiting a streams access to one or two users? would a simple if statement checking if the user id is one of the two suffice?
this is absolutely insane. thank you for making this possible without having to read a 500 page book.
Serverpod looks very promissing. Its still much harder to use than Supabase but you are making big progress. Multiple time I had situation when I was generating serverpod and it returned success result but my "client" folder had errors inside.
Why models are YAML and not Dart files?
Serverpod looks very promising. Few points which was problematic compare to Supabase: generating client sometimes creates errors in client folder even when generating process was successful. Also there is still a lot of boilerplate like Session manager and stuf like that. It should be as easy as in Supabase case
Very good video
Great video. Right now Im using Supabase a lot but maybe there is an easy way to connect Serverpod and Supabase together?
Can I somehow connect Serverpod with SUpabase?
It looks great!!!
Helo ♥️🙏🖐
It's not convincing video. Build a complete project and show us how this tool solves a serious problem.
We have a bunch of tutorials. Here is one for doing real time communication with Serverpod Mini: th-cam.com/video/iCDeAvuMj8I/w-d-xo.html
I will like tfor you to show the postgresql side so you can show the data inside the database.
question: is there any command that I can automatically map an existing database and the model is created based on that ?
Hoping soon we will get a full tutorial covering pretty much about serverpod. It's hard to get a tutorial that is covering serverpod in a beginner friendly manner. Personally I have to use tutorial then read documentation to understand. Kindly consider my request as I would really want to use serverpod but no tutorial out here explaining serverpod concepts.
Have you checked out this one? th-cam.com/video/FwttjcKyWFk/w-d-xo.html
@@serverpod I checked it out and I must say that its a wonderful tutorial however I wish that we could have a fullstack tutorial for flutter+serverpod.
Can't wait for the real-time refreshing of the note app. Serverpod is awesome but documentation and more simples are needed.
Any Updates about Serverpod Cloud?
When we might get serverpod cloud?
That's amazing, great progress🎉
Thank you! 🤩
This is what i have been waiting for. 🙏
Yay! 🙌
I really love this im starting to wotk with serverpod and pushit through the community
Hang on a bit. Why do we have wait 5sec then reconnect?? A stream should be connected all through and data release when a new data is available. Trying to reconnect after a certain period seems more like a Future to me 🤔
The wait only happen if connection is lost to the server, either because your internet goes down or your server goes down. I guess it wouldn’t hurt having a shorter wait either.
Insightful! 👏
🙏
awesome
Thank you! 🤩
What a great tutorial Victor. We really appriciate your efforts building such a great tool for flutter developers. Thanks for everything.
Thank you! 🤩
So simple and amazing😎
Thank you!
I love serverpod❤❤ Working on my game 🎮 using Serverpod-mini and streams for real-time communication, it's soo light😮🤭🤯 Thank you so much guys🙏🙏🙏
I'm updating my code base soon ☺☺
🥳
I had a lot of fun doing this. 🎉 Hope you enjoy it too.
so default values dont work for custom models ?
They do. :) The only limitation is that you cannot map them to the database.
23:22 is the Id an integer? a uuid?
The "id" field of a table is an integer when working with Serverpod.
i don't know anything about serverpod, but the yml looks odd. 21:38 why aren't "table" and "fields" indented? there are other examples, as well.
The "table" and "fields" are top keys in a map, hence they shouldn't be indented. :)
What a great product, I have really enjoyed exploring your documentation. Videos are also very well made. I am checking out Serverpod after MongoDB has announced deprecation of its SDKs and most Atlas Services. Serverpod so far, really seems like a very intriguing destination. 👍Only gotta figure out the offline first synchronisation 😅
Amazing! Will you make a tutorial to use serverpod as a local backend for local production server? I'm currently trying using docker on debian
Yea you will need to make a step by step tutorial, Im not even a back dev just mobile, and have no idea on anything related to backend but I want to use serverpod so bad. Great job guys
Thank you! Just released a full tutorial for doing real-time communication with Serverpod. 🥳 But there is much more coming!
@@serverpodla caja uyj
why do you not use Optional, company.foundedDate == null?
It's just impressive !
Thank you! 🙏
Please consider to process pull requests faster. Thanks for your great effort to make backend development simple.
We try to be on top of it, but I'm sure we can do a better job here! 😅 Anything in particular we should try to bring up to the top?
@@serverpod I see many great pull requests such sms authentication, facebook authentication etc in pull requests which are perfect to include to next releases. I also have a small PR that adds file upload functionality to server directories. I m looking forward that you will add all of these pr's to next releases.
Amazing work, now waiting for serverpod cloud and ability to use something like Turso DB with Serverpod 🤞
Will we remove this yaml crap with new dart macros?
thats cool, is there any way to generate yaml to code without running any extra command , say macro like thing
who have experience in serverpod that can guide me through my project please let me know
We have a good community on Github. It's easy to ask questions there: github.com/serverpod/serverpod/discussions
Writing my 3rd project with serverpod, I'm super excited! You guys are amazing!!!
Wow that is amazing! 🤩 Anything we can see? We would love to feature you!
make complete serverpod tutorial (beginner friendly)
Have you checked this one out? th-cam.com/video/FwttjcKyWFk/w-d-xo.html
@@serverpod The Video is not covering all, file upload host it in hostinger vps my main problem in default primary key field is int datatype, i wanna create my own primary key with field which is string datatype and i wanna connect my custom primary key to other model foreign key. How do i do that? i asked @dbestech youtube channel to create a project using serverpod, they said serverpod is complete mess.
Amazing work guys !
Thank you! 🙏
Just wating the serverpod cloud 🚀🚀🚀
We are working hard to bring everyone onboard. Check our social media for the waiting list. 🙌
Do we have a knowledge base for this? Somewhere where we can find a starter app built with this and we can learn from it?
Most definitely. Check out our docs: docs.serverpod.dev/

I'd love to see sqlite support for serverpod mini
We may do something like this in the future. Running Postgres in Docker is really easy though.
Wow, what an impressive release and upgrade! Great work Viktor et co!
Thank you Mike! Means a lot to the whole team. 🤩
Such a cool framework❤
Thank you!! 🤩
