Wakatakakage is more of a chance to win haha. Wakamotoharu is in terrible form. I am a fan but he seems to have no real defence at the moment. My guess is Hoshoryu or Onosato. Kotozakura doesnt seem to have what it takes at the moment but I would love to see him fight with more…. Maybe passion?

Like Hoshoryu, I think Koto just drops the odd bout he really shouldnt. Time/experience. I have no doubt he will take a yusho win very soon though.

It's hard to argue against what he does when he is so successful though. I feel for the lower ranked rikishi who are forced to move to his stable. Hopefully life will improve a bit for them in time.

The anti-henka people are unhappy haha. Fair play I say.

@@nhksumo Yeah I agree. Always the same drama lol. It's part of sumo. And a guy like Wakamotoharu surely CAN outsmart a henka. Today he didn't. Maybe didn't expect it from Hosh so much. That's how it is. Techniques like that keep sumo interesting in my opinion. As long as it's not all a Rikishi ever does I guess, haha.

I still call it a dirty henka though hahaha

Unpredictable. Osaka can be that way after their ‘holiday break’ between January and March. Alot of them get married etc during this period. Less training haha

That is valid. There are theories that the JSA are out to knock him down a few pegs but I think if it was many other stables, they would have closed it down. The fact they gave him another chance is telling that they recognise he is good for the sport. I think the JSA really needed to get a good control over the poorly supervised wrestlers there first. Things will improve as they understand the situation too. Despite his bad behaviour, I do feel a bit for Hokuseiho. I thought he might get a chance and some better direction. Shame for someone so young to lose a career like that. Very poor behaviour though and not likely to have been able to stay at that stable.

Yes. It was quite sad to see his apology interview. I hope he gets some psychological help and finds a new direction in life. Hakuho has some responsibility as well to support him with a new direction.
