Absolutely impossible that this is 242 whp... dyno must be reading wrong or showing whp instead of bhp. A K20 needs internal work (raised compression and bigger camshafts) to reach 242 whp, certainly needs to rev higher than 8700 rpm too. 242 hp at the engine is definitely possible with this setup though. Awesome car nonetheless!
Nathan Vonlanthen with good bolt on parts jdm k20’s can make this much power, this is not the only one. I tuned severel cars around 237-242whp
@@necatiyalner3423 I don't doubt your abilities or the K20 itself (even 218 / 220 JDM K20As), but the dyno... All the results I've seen point to a maximum of 255-260 hp at the engine with bolt-ons... 280 hp is either full bolt on K20/K24 territory, or a K20A with cams. Which leads me to conclude the dyno you've worked with in the video must read too high.
@@nvl2691 that is correct, i have 20/24, full bolt ons, dual titanium valve springs , 3 inch exhaust, and I'm making 245 whp, with 195 ft/lbs of torque.

My stock k20a cl7 with jasma header, hondata k100 and 3 inch exhaust only make 217hp
And last, we can really bang its rev limiter?
@@zairuljr1347 Try changing to plm header for tsx 04-08 and cai and you should probably get to 230 whp and you can also make the car run rich on fuel and then maybe 240whp

man that trq is sad for the $. $800 tsx motor makes almost that stock with bolt ons,. sounds good though
not a back torque but because of camshafts are for high revs I loose some torque.

+ltspectre engine was build but we don't know the exact specs. this is with 13-14 psi boost pressure.
+necati yalıner how much was the total cost? can you build a proper safety no engine or gearbox issues itr turbo for like 7-10k budget as a daily (night of course:p) driven? seems like super fun
I don't know the total cost. This car imported from japan with all parts. engine and gearbox are fully build with os giken parts. We just changed the ecu to hondata s300 and tune it with boost by gear.
