A little too ambitious for 60 minutes - needs a good hack and slash plus some mixing. AND to do like some of the elements of this idea ;)

So, all caught up on the Song-tober delivery AND I actually like some stuff about this one. In my last idea it was just … eww! Nothing really redeeming about it. In this one tho, I do like the rhythmic (even if journeyman like) riff and the diminished sound over the top. It creates a bit of tension and texture that appeals to me … as it grooves. Sometimes you just need to keep on working ;)

As a friend of mine likes to say, "it sucks to suck!". I knew this week would be a challenge to find the time to record every day. So, I thought that this day it would be a good idea to just get some stuff down … doesn't always work ;)

I really like the sound of this little guitar. After years of running pickups that are too hot or too close to the strings, I've learned that backing them down (re lowering them … more than you think) creates room in the tone.

First one for "Song-Tober". Better to just get started sometimes ;)
