Venice bacaro tour | 3 tips for visiting Venice, Italy | 48 hours in Venice | Where to eat in Venice
Finally I managed to get to Venice for 2 days to be able to film a proper Bacaro tour! To enjoy the city fully you really need at least two days and then I would say 4 is more than enough.
We didn't manage to visit all of the bacari on my list - this was my 13th time in Venice over the 5 years that I've lived here so I have accumulated quite a large list of tried and tested places.
If you would like me to send you my PERSONALISED google maps list then please like this video and comment below OR go over to my IG (my handle is on my about page on here) and send me a DM with your email address! I will be happy to share it with you! It is full of different types of places also with notes on each advising you of what to try when you are there!
Thanks for watching and thank you for being here!

มุมมอง 8749 หลายเดือนก่อน
My best friend Katia and I went to Budapest for our birthdays a couple of months ago and this is everything we got up to. Any place I have noted is a recommendation (maybe not the ruin bar lol). Can't speak more highly of that amazing city, definitely want to go back!
ITALIAN WINE FESTIVAL | Hosteria Verona 2023 | Italian drinking culture
มุมมอง 406ปีที่แล้ว
Come with us a to a wine festival! Hosteria takes place in Verona city centre at the end of every summer, usually in October. The stalls are situated in the three main squares in the city; Piazza Erbe, Piazza Bra and Piazza Dante. You have to by your tickets online on their website and in my option it’s worth the money because the whole day is just so much fun. I hope you enjoy the video! Pleas...
LUCCA, PISA & FORTE DI MARMI | Tuscan Road Trip | TUSCANY IN 5 DAYS | Italian Beach Holiday
มุมมอง 138ปีที่แล้ว
This was my first time in all 4 cities/towns that we visited in the video although not my first time in the region (I've previously done Florence, San Giminagno and Sienna). It was my first real experience on the coast of the middle of the country and I have to say I was much more impressed with the beaches in Pulgia and Elba island than I was with there - they are also SO much cheaper, I could...
48 HOURS IN ROME | Top 10 places to eat and see in Rome | BEST FOOD IN ROME | Food tour
มุมมอง 2.9Kปีที่แล้ว
My Dad and I went to Rome for a weekend which is just 4 hours away from my home in Verona. Although it was his first time (and you can see some of his amazing reviews and first opinions of the ancient city in the video) it was my 6th time in Rome so from word of mouth and recommendations from Italian friends I've compiled this list of places to eat and see if you are on a budget and don't want ...
REORGANISING MY BALCONY FOR SUMMER | Italian apartment balcony garden | BALCONY MAKE-OVER
มุมมอง 645ปีที่แล้ว
My balcony in my absolute favourite part of my apartment here in Verona and every year in spring I have to start cleaning and planning what I'm going to do with it for summer. This year we decided to grow some tomatoes and it was such a great idea because they ended up being SO sweet and we got a pretty big harvest out of them. I hope you enjoy this super floral fun summer video! X
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SCOTTISH GAMEKEEPER | Deer stalking on the Isle of Bute | SCOTLAND PART 2
มุมมอง 35Kปีที่แล้ว
Come with me to the Isle of Bute, an island just off the west coast of Scotland where I visit my big cousin Jon, who is a gamekeeper. We went deer stalking at 5am in the forest at the top of the island, he also took us around on a little tour where we got to see him at work - he plants thousands of new trees and has to control the deer population because deers kill the trees. It was so much fun...
GOING HOME TO SCOTLAND | Easter at home | Fun family Vlog | PART 1

Part 2 coming next week, we're going to Bute for a day in the life of a Scottish Gamekeeper! x

This was actually a couple of week ago now, but we had the best Sunday hiking and eating typical meats and cheeses in the mountains! It a common past time here in the north of Italy being so close to the Dolomites, often we go for a long hike and at the top of the mountain we have lunch and a few drinks together. WHAT TO EAT IN VERONA | The most famous Veronese dish | Lesso e pearà | Boiled meat with bread sauce
มุมมอง 506ปีที่แล้ว
I asked my friend Nappa to make the most popular and most famous dish from Verona for us one Sunday because I wanted to learn how to make it - it's a lengthly process! It's not the most appetising dish when you translate is - boiled meat with bread sauce, but it is super tasty because you have to spend a full day making the meaty broth to make the Pearà with. Pearà (this is the Veronese dialect...
BEEF CHEEKS IN RED WINE | A Scottish Italian Christmas | AUBERGINE PARMIGANIA | ITALIAN RECIPE

This was the first Christmas my family and I have ever spent outside Scotland in our whole lives, my mum flew from Scotland and my little sister came from London to celebrate our first ITALIAN Christmas together in the city I live in, Verona. We went to an incredible winery called Bersi Serlini in Franciacorta, Brescia for a tasting of my absolute FAVOURITE Italian sparkling wine; FRANCIACORTA. MAKING EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL IN ITALY | Harvesting, Milling and Tasting
มุมมอง 4832 ปีที่แล้ว
I spent two weeks with an amazing family harvesting olives in the hills behind the city of Verona. We then took the olives to a very Famous local olive mill called Salvagno and had therm cold pressed and turned into extra virgin olive. It was an incredible experience to take something from the earth and turn it into a product that I use everyday. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did do...

Szia! 🥰 One is more beautiful than the other! 😉Thank you for the video! 😍😘
I loved it! I sincerely hope you enjoyed your visit and will return in the future. Two days is not enough in this country. I'm new here. Good luck with your channel! ❤ (I don't like chaos either 😂)
Is this something you think you will do again for a holiday? whiskey tasting👍
I’m not sure I love whiskey enough!!! American bourbon yeah 😍 must not be a true Scot 😂
Well.. not spitting at vinitaly. Did you go all four days, or just that one? :D
Haha of course not!!! Do you think a Scot would ever waste good wine?! We only went for one day!! Not going to the actual event this year either, just the sub event in the city at night! Have you ever been?
@@suzanneemilyo Haha, okok :) I went last year, and Im also going this year with a Italian friend of mine that lives in Verona, so so convenient! We were checking out the city center last time, but we just wanna taste, not party.
i think you weren't holding the rifle into your shoulder enough or flinching. takes practice, and 308 for the first time shooting is a bit of a rifle. good on you. I'm from Australia, and love venison and hunting wild game for my family to eat. Lived in Scotland for 5 years and loved heading out to the families farm or the highlands. absolutely gorgeous countryside.
What a load of shite
My first negative comment 🥹
Thank you sir!
If that was alva they'd be boxing the noo 😅😅😅
Hahahaha exactly!! Couldn’t agree more 😂
Great video, loved bute and the swing!
ahhh thank you!! 🙃
Your dad is FUN! 😂 Thanks for sharing! Love your content!
super wholesome content. Loved your interaction with your dad. We are off to italy next year and will certainly save this vid for a rewatch before visiting Rome. Grazie.
Awwww thank you!! All dads are special and funny but a Scottish dad in Rome for the first time is exceptionally funny 🤣 all these places are perfect for snacks and small bites, we don’t all have stomachs like the Italians 😅
Your dad is adorable! Enjoyed listening to him complain. 😂Thanks for the tips. Would love to see other videos.
Hahahahah, I also love hearing him complain, it's hilarious. His one request was "as long as I'm not swearing" and it would have been impossible to include any audio at all if I removed all his swearing 🤣 Thank you so much!
This video was so fun to watch!
Thank youuuu 🥹♥️

How did you skipped the queue at the pantheon ?
Walked in the door! Not encouraging it, but it was funny 😅 this was before you had to pay so it definitely couldn’t happen now.

"Absolutely blootering it down" 🤣🤣 too good!!
beautiful garden my friend💐
Thank you so much 🙂 It's my pride and joy
Great video, interesting to see how much work goes into running an estate like that. So different than life here in the U.S.
Awww thank you!! Yeah I can imagine it’s so different over there.
That is a great informative vlog loved it. What a job he has. To experience shooting a bullet rifle is something I will always cherish. Your drone shots are also great I have a DJI mini 2 and absolutely love it. Practice practice practice. Love Sotland
Thank you so much! It took a lot of practice to get them to where they are now, some of my favourite shots are when I fly super close to the ground so you can really see the speed, my next purchase in the FPV for sure 😍 there’s no better place for drone shot than Scotland!
Great content, thanks for sharing! Glad your eye and that scope never kissed. lol
the Sitka spruce is adapted to temperate rain forests with really high rainfall
Oh wow really! I had no idea, so cool!
Deer can easily overpopulate their habitats due to the fast growth and reproduction rate despite only giving birth to 1 at a time
Deer can and will have twins if the condition of the mother allows. This is normal with roe deer but with Reds it's very rare.
Great wee video , you are very lucky you did not get scoped when firing the rifle, trust you were told to keep a firm shoulder to the butt.
I know it looks like I was about to get smacked in the face, but yes he did tell me, clearly I’m just pretty weak 🤣
At least you are still in one piece.😘@@suzanneemilyo

Ear defenders
I didn’t realise he had held his ears until I watched it back 😂 I was like, hold on a minute…if you’re holding your ears, who’s holding mine?! 🤣
@@suzanneemilyo the way the sound propagates it was actually louder for me than it is for you when you took the shot. Mental eh!? Plus I have dodgy ears for not wearing ear defenders at the range...
Are those trees being planted to offset some very rich person’s carbon footprint so they can fly around in their private jets.
Better than nothing, isn’t it?
Cynical and jealous.
I stalk in scotland im from cheshire and i love it up there thank you for sharing your video with us and your time 😊
Thank you so much for watching, it honestly means so much to me! 🤎
Thanks for sharing, I keepered up by Loch Fyne and I remember Bobby Gordon who was Headkeeper on Bute picking up for us during the game shooting season. Well done to Jon for explaining deer management. Cheers. GD
He done such a good job, I found the whole day so interesting! Thank you for watching 🤎
Cheers mate. Appreciate the kind words 👌🏻I've heard Bobby's name but never met him. That's some good ground up that way. Done my time at argyll estate. Glen shira way and Dunderave.
Hope you took a visit to the "Big Hoose", Mount Stuart, many happy memories as a laddie on that island, my uncle Terry Colclough worked in the big hoose :) and lived at 1 Kerrycroy with my aunt Helen, superb times 70' 80's, keep up the good work Jon and super vid Suzanne.
The house is amazing!! So worth the entrance fee and just to wonder around the gardens all day. Thank you so much!
Dragging your Mum with you was probably not a great idea either.
@@johncurtis3358 i think it was a fucking fantastic idea 😂
Gonna pause the vid for a second just to say that a .308 and the AK’s 7.62x39 are COMPLETELY different and only an idiot would compare the 2.
Cheers Ryan, appreciate your input. Yip they are different. As are the NATO 7.62 rounds. small differences but different all the same. Does the AK fire 7.62 rounds? Yes. 7.62x39 it's in the name. The overall length is much shorter but the bullets are within a few hundredths of one another. This isn't an attempt to compare or go over the ballistics qualities but an attempt to connect with something the non shooter may have heard of. Ballistics can be quite a dry subject and with the plethora of ammunition options a very deep well with not many people drinking from it. Anyway I hope you are well and healthy, eating your greens and wild game taking some time to relax.
No need to be pedantic Ryan, I’m a .308 owner myself and I knew exactly what jon was getting at for purposes of the video.
Love it pal! Haste ye back ❤
Get yer broon sauce tae'....
Don’t tell me you’re a ketchup with square sausage person, are you crazy?
@@suzanneemilyo if there is enough butter, that's aw the juice I need! But aye ketchup sits on the condiment throne!

Fantastic Suzanne looks great well done 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Another great effort Suzanne love the scenery keep up the great work ❤️❤️☺️
And at the top of the tree is Ca’ del Bosco. Made from the same grapes as Champagne, fermented in the bottle, just like Champagne and never released before being ready. It is a fantastic drink, honestly, and at prices between £35 and £198 it is well worth buying. It is still a drink I give to people to show them Prosecco is NOT a GREAT WINE.
Great job Marco!
Grazie di questo prezioso dono! 😍
Grande Suz, great work!
Amazing video, above all interview to Marco. It' s nice to see all nice family together at work!! Video has been done very well indeed! My compliment!
