How much does air weigh? | project
มุมมอง 1234 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the school project which proves Air has weight. One cubic foot of air weight approximately 0.0807 lbs. Air is a composite of various gases, and this mixture can change due to an enormous quantity of variables, so these numbers are approximate.

    20 psi is not bad, my machine was set to need 50psi water pressure in factory, there is a box in upper section of machine that controls the pressure. the coil you get with the machines are huge you need to to be much closer to the sides of what you are heating. Smaller better fit coil = more power transfer.

    Hey, cool video! Quick question-do you know if it's necessary to create a vacuum, or better yet, is there a vacuum present on your end?

    I use a diamond chinese stone like the "middle price" one. With trend lapping solution. How do you clean the particles off the stone (not using water) off the steel base metal?

    Do you have the trend plate 1000 side on the micrscope? I am always weary of coarse grit contamination on dual sided plates

    The facts that you gave regarding mono-crystalline being stronger than poly-crystalline is completely false and the graphics that you showed were taken off the site that gives the same false info. If you're going to do a comparison that at least get your facts correct and stop perpetuating incorrect data.

    • @Aexium
      @Aexium 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What he meant is that polycrystalline diamonds wear off quicker, as grain boundary binding energy is significantly lower than the pure sp3 bond, and as such those particles will fracture at grain boundary over time with harder materials sharpening.

    Note for those like me who missed it on the first watch. He's comparing DMD stone not DMT (Dia-Sharp) stone. the DMT (Dia-Sharp) stones use monochrystalline stones like Trend does. And DMT claims there diamond size is more consistent than any other company. At 59$ per stone, the price of two 400/1000 respectively, the cost is under 118$ while the price of this dual side 300/1000 is 122$ at the time of this post. I bought the Trend stone, it works well, but is not technically the cheapest high quality MCD sharpening stone on the market.

    15Kw ??? at 220v it would draw 68 Amps, which is about the limit of my whole house incoming fuse!!! surely its 1.5Kw ?

      They will bring a couple of inches of 1" square bar to near yellow heat in about 40 seconds. the max input power is about 7kw. Not sure what the 15kw is related to, but they are definitely well over 1.5kw. required wiring is permanent (no plug) and 9 gauge or bigger.

    • @mds6387
      @mds6387 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In the US it would be 240v drawing 62.5amps. A 200amp service with a 60amp circuit is recommended.

      Yep. 10$. I got one of the gold colored ones for my first dia plate, as a test. I think it was bonded with brass or something soft. worked well at first, but is nearly smooth after a few months of weekly use (wood carving and whittling often). I found generics last longer if you use them in reverse like a strop. Now that I have spent 30 on generics, it's time for a dmt, trend or eze lap. Learned how they cut, how to best use etc, and now on to better quality ones
