My lap times also average around 1:38 and with this video I also realised that I was carrying too much speed into turn 2 and do you have a brake reference point for the hairpin,if u do pls tell me and also what is your best lap time?

@@baseerrehman9598 Depends on weight, I average around 1:34.5, if you're above 80, brake early, if under 80, brake late

People have crashed into me, but luckily I haven't in anyone. The karts have very high grip levels, so if you feel you're about to crash, just press the brake pedal hard. This way you'll lockup and spin, stopping right there.

I'll definitely try that! I need to shave only 6 seconds anyways, so every second matters!

15 mins, you can do 1 lap in 15 mins, or 9, it depends on your driving and lap times.

It might seem counterintuitive but to be able to break 1:40, you need to slow down a bit. I am still way too aggressive which is why having difficulty in breaking 1:37 as well, but I'm consciously making an effort to be more smoother. You need to be very smooth around the corners. Break in hard before the turn, take a smooth corner without tyre screeching and have a fast exit. This is something I noticed in my video of 1:37. I took some corners way too slow, much slower than in this video but that was my fastest lap time.

@@DJSIRAJ10 In my mind I am trail braking, not sure if I'm able to execute it properly or not. With regards to braking points, it varies from turn to turn and for accelerating, I try ease into the throttle as soon as I hit the apex. Slowly go full throttle as I straighten the kart and have confidence the tail won't go out on me. Hope this helps
