what are you control at the actuator level? position & velocity control or torque control?
As of right not, position control only. The actuators are capable of torque control once higher level controls are developed.
Bravo! I'd love to see/hear a bit more discussion about your control parameters and what discoveries you made while implementing (and I bet others would too). What constraints are imposed that affect the speed and response times of the pendulum? For example, what might limit a maker to make a version with the pendulum shorter or longer with this approach?
