Who's that moron on his phone, looking the wrong way?
Hey I was thinking about doing this mod, just curious what is your long term average mpg? thanks.
It's like 25ish. Didn't change at all. And you only really hear the purge at heavy load. If you're day to day driving you won't even have enough RPM to hear it. And the recirculated air doesn't affect air mixture or MPG
I think I'm gonna plug mine at the intake, any reason not to?
Nope, same effect
@@TroobAdoreMusic I ended up plugging the hose at the BOV side with a San pellegrino bottle cap haha. Been 3 weeks, runs fine, BOV isn’t loud but definitely noticeable with windows up
@@THESLlCK if you remove the engine cover, its super loud. riding without the engine cover now
Hi Bro! Greetings from Italy!! I'm a Giulia Veloce Q4 2.0 280hp owner and I want to do this tune!! I've already done a similar tuning on my Abarth 595 but with the Giulia I don't want "to risk"... Did you get any trouble? I've read all the comments and you always said "no"... So I hope! Did you prefer to delete the tube or to maintain as you do? Did you replace the engine cover? Is it possible to put a "filter" (like the little BMC as I do on my Abarth) on the hole that blow off?? Thank you if you reply to everything... Byyyyeee 😎🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Hey David, car is running excellent, im 106k miles now no issues. Just came from a car cruise and the sound is still awesome. Keep the tube, it's easy to just plug it and stow it in the engine. Not sure about the filter but if you've done it before, don't see a problem with it
@@TroobAdoreMusic thank you so much for reply! I've done today the same tuning as you in the video (maintaining the tube)! Sound is very awesome!!! That "Pppsssshhh" make me smile every time!! I don't know how you discover this tuning but know that I'll be thankful to you for life!!! Grazie!!! Greetings from Italy!!! 😎👍👍
I literally did it just now it sounds LOUD 😂, not messing with the dv adding anything else or horns for laser sounds.. BMS intake and this $5 mod ! Thank you
How’s it holding up? Do you notice any difference HP wise? Any codes?
How's your throttle responce? Would the Turbo have to respool?
No change
after three years is it still like that and holding up well
Yep!
What exhaust you have ?
Muffler Delete
HTTR4EVA
Any errors yet?
No sir! Still chugging. I've had multiple scheduled services too and the dealer hasn't said anything about it
I did this mod and I’m getting no “woosh” sound
Hmm, not sure why. Did you make sure the plug is sealed tightly?
What blow off valve ???
Does the AC have to be off ? I just installed V2 intake and waiting on my euro compulsion V2 ECU tune I also have Y pipe with quad tips so holding to get a good sound without using a BOV
Nope you don't have to do anything special. It's very audible in any condition
@@TroobAdoreMusic I went to oriely I’m try this tomorrow they had a 1- 1/4 freeze plug so I ended up just grabbing that you think that size is good enough ??
@@TroobAdoreMusic update it didn’t fit 🤣 I’m take my girls car and find one auto zone was dumb ass fuck they tried giving me the actual freeze plug that’s like the cap they didn’t understand me so I’m check out another oriely if not hopefully Walmart ?
@@TroobAdoreMusic so I installed it but I use it on Dynamic it feels delayed on my throttle ? Did I do it incorrectly or ?
just did this and it sounds BEAUTIFUL, really easy DIY and financial wise not expensive at all!
Any issues so far?
Nope no issues, I love it
Is there any way to make turbo flutter?
No the turbo isn't large enough
Yes, put a block off plate where the diverter valve is. Should you do it? No, it causes compressor surge and CAN lead to premature turbo wear. Do it at your own risk, but turbo flutter does sound good. You're better off getting the GFB Dual port DV that lets you vent to atmosphere and allows for a tiny bit of flutter noise that doesn't cause boost to shoot back through the turbo compressor side
im now seeing this video and are you still running the freeze plug in it or did you remove it?
Still running it no issue. Love revving it up and letting it purge
@@TroobAdoreMusic cool bro thank you
do i need the piece or do i just unplug it
Sorry which piece do you mean?
🍻👍 but one add on. Whoever is taking off the cover. Watch out because they are sharp on the edges.
how is it running till this day looking into it
Running perfect, never reversed it
How about now? Still doing ok?
What exhaust are you running your shit sounds great
Here's the trick, go to any local exhaust shop and ask for a muffle delete, only about $200 and less than an hour
Why.?
Cry
the cover wont fit back on
Make sure the screw hole are alined with the cover. Once you screw them in, press down on the cover and it will all snap back into place. Make sure to screw it back in first
@@TroobAdoreMusic that wasnt it, i had to push it back, and pull up while being infront of the coolant line, so it clips on in the back, and then we have the stelvio with the strutbar which made it harder
you should put a small filter on that blow off like in here; th-cam.com/video/iembsPLQG7c/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=BIESSEMotors
Hello you left a comment on a post that I very much agreed with relating to Kanye. About his vision needing to be realized. Do you believe in that vision
Yes
Fixing to try this! Good video!
Good bye the correct AFR...
The air dispelled isn't measured while going out or back in ❤️😘
@@TroobAdoreMusic if anything it creates a very very tiny rich condition for a fraction of a second. Definitely something that's not going to hurt or be noticable. Thank you for the awesome video, I've got parts in the way to do this too.
Hook a afr guage to it your fucking up the mixture
Will it harm the turbo by any means doing this mod?? Plz help
No sir. The air dispelled typically is recirculated into the turbo but it's so little air that it does not effect the efficiency. Also the air is not measured so there are no fault codes thrown. I still have this mod on my car and it runs great.
Was this the GFB BV+ for this car?
Because i want to put this mod on but dont know if it will harm my components in the car
@@santosanchez5362 it doesnt harm the car..Geez
@@santosanchez5362 Honestly if you're that worried about it and can't figure it out. You probably shouldn't attempt it.
Where did you buy the plug
Autozone. 1inch freeze plug
@@TroobAdoreMusic thanka
What do you mean once you hit load.
So 80+ throttle and past 2.5k/3k rpm
@@TroobAdoreMusic I just completed the mod. Thanks for sharing sir.

Love this , please post more diy vids for the Giulia 🇦🇺
I decided to do an instructional on installation and more test sounds. This should help those a little weary about attempting this. Its super easy, super cheap. No codes thrown and no issues. Reversible in 2 minutes.
After 3yrs did your Alfa gave you any codes or troubles?
INSANE SHOT... I can barely see the enemy lol
