The Old Fux Listening Party
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 13 พ.ย. 2023
Hello and welcome to the Old Fux Listening Party. We are the Old Fux (Jeff & Vicky) reacting to music and some other things. We revisit great songs from the 70's 80's and 90's, as well as some newer music every so often. Jeff will add some commentary, as well as just share his passion for music. Vicky has not heard Most these songs before, although some songs Jeff and Vicky will both know. Join us on our musical adventures and lets have some fun!

All the drums on Kiss Alive are in fact live recordings. If I remember correctly the tracks are from two shows but the bulk of the album is from one show. Peter Criss=The Catman!
Dont forget the Christmas album
guy sold sratch cards for watford fc
best version
I think you guys might be the first youtubers to react to this track, very underlooked track
back in the day Party Tunez...
Grew up with Aerosmith, saw them 4 or 5 times. This is my favorite song by them. Gritty!
Such a fun song. Great album. Still holds up
John Wetton (Lead Singer/Bassist) He was in King Crimson and later formed UK with Allen Holdsworth, Bill Bruford and Eddie Jobson and later Holdsworth and Bruford left and Terry Bozio joined. Geoff Downes (Keyboards) He was in The Buggles with Trevor Horn of Video Killed the Radio Star fame. They were asked to join Yes for the Drama album. Later Steve Howe(Yes) brought him as the last member of Asia. Carl Palmer (Drums) Obviously in Emerson, Lake and Palmer Steve Howe (Guitars) A majority of his career in Yes and the short lived GTR with Steve Hackett and produced and partially written by Geoff Downes. Roger Dean (Artist) He did sketches for all the Yes albums. He was brought in to do the Asia logo and album covers. The debut album was his attempt at painting in water colors. Asia had some different lineups from 1985 to 2006. The original lineup was together from 1981 to 1984 and then reunited from 2006 to 2013. Original lineup albums: Asia, Alpha, Phoenix, Omega and XXX (Thirty not porn) The debut has the best mix of pop-Prog and Prog music. Only Time Will Tell was the other big hit off the debut though almost all got played on the radio. If you prefer their more Proggy work Time and Again is the one I would recommend from the debut. Alpha had, what was really their 2nd biggest hit Don't Cry. It gets lost to history and hasn't really popped up in the 80's renaissance of video games like HoT and OTWT. It is more poppy. In my opinion nothing topped the debut as a whole. They have a lot of great songs across the five original lineup albums. XXX is the best of the three reunion albums though none of the other albums are bad. I would say they are good . Tomorrow the World (XXX) ,Wish I'd Known All Along (Phoenix) and Light the Way (Omega) are the newer songs to check out.
he knows it... we who were young in that time.... oh my god. I am old.
"Gypsie" is also a good song off 'The Last in Line".
Twisted sister is one of my favorite bands
This whole Album is awesome
Loved this song when I heard it for the first time, while I was in tenth grade. My favorite part has always been the instrumental. It sounds like a heart slowly breaking.
This song is not about anal sex. The song is about letting go, possibly sexually, possibly anally. Debatably. Mostly it's about sex.
Good one 🤘
No keyboard in this song
Fav guitar solo ( all time ).
Favorite Aerosmith album is rocks without a doubt. By far the most dirtiest grittiest album they've ever done!
Best song on Kiss Alive in my opinion.
I actually quite like this song (I'd even say it's one of my favorites) however, it's about the only song on the entire album that I liked period.
I hear you, I feel the same way. One of Genes better songs
Great song from an album I don’t love! Gene’s bass line! Awesome
Epic!
It's orgasmic totally
I love this song perfectly written and performed pure genius
Too progressive???? Yep! Old lol Your wife is so use to old music she has no life in her lol. People who pay for reactions aren’t looking for sad sak lol The man gets it and is respectful to these masters of their arts
it IS The GREATEST album. you gotta appreciate the pure talent of this music
Oh I do, but she does not lol
Try listening to Isolation. One of my favorite songs by them
Funny Although, you might want to introduce TS with "The Price"....or even "We're not gonna take it" :)
Classic Deep Purple, love it, l was 11 years old when this album came out and starting to learn a little english and by then they were already legends, greetings from Monterrey, México 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡⚡🎸🎸🎸😈😈😈
I'm in search of covers of this song with Tabs and I found you're channel. That visual you played during the solo was bad ass dude. Fuck yeah!
im sorry...your impossible to watch......
great great song
ce groupe est immense
Best audio of this song I found on TH-cam.
Still going strong! Saw them Live last month. They look like they’re having a great time on stage, and lead vocalist John Bush sounds just as strong in a live setting at 60 plus years old, as he did in his 20’s! That’s a rare thing for this singing style! Plus, he has a ton of charisma! Fun band!
For all the people who said Peter Criss is a lousy drummer I don't what they're smokin'. He sounds pretty good on this..
Great fast track . At the opposite side "Last Rose of the summer" (from "Sin after sin") is the ultimate jazz love ballad.
their most clever song
This reaction is disrespectful to this great band. I'm unsubscribing!
the GOD R. J . DIO
I love the editing
Harry Cody is the guitarist. Teas'n Pleez'n is a song off the first album. Part of what makes them amazing to me is how they transformed their sound from album to album. Self-titled first album is very glam, Second Coming is somewhere between hair and punk and grunge and the 3rd album: Violent New Breed is straight up (NIN/Manson) industrial. They do all 3 sounds well and the common denominators are Tim Skold (vocals) and Harry Cody (guitar)
One of the most underrated bands of the era. ❤️🤘❤️
Hey, I don't know your name mam, but I bet you belted out this song back in the 80s huh? I did, but in private because I'm a dude. Now that I'm 60 I don't give a damn I just sing my ass off! 😅
If I had to use one word for you two it'd be 'strange'. Do hope that helps.
You guys are great ❤❤❤
Everything Zebra does is great 👍
I saw him for the first time ever last year in Birmingham! Phenomenal musician.
Randy Jackson wrote this song about his girlfriend not being able to decide on which restaurant she wanted to go to 😉
