I don’t like Steve Jobs as a person because he was extremely inhumane, but there is no denying that he changed the world for better or worse. He was both inspirational and deeply flawed. In many ways, his flaws were what made him a brilliant creator. According to Woz, the dialogue in this movie perfectly captured how they were in real life, even though much of it never actually happened. For example, the fight between Jobs and Wozniak never took place, but they clashed often. A confrontation like that would have been entirely believable. Jobs was incredibly cold and was likely that way because he had Asperger’s and a lack of emotional intelligence or awareness. My favorite line in the movie is one that feels so fitting for him. "I'm poorly made." That line is brilliant because it suggests he saw himself as a defective product, but it could also have a double meaning that he is a normal, flawed human being. Something flawed by nature yet still using what abilities he had to create. It is almost like an apology, but at the same time, it blurs the line between accountability and the things beyond his control, like his genetics and personality. It is a almost an analysis of free will. Jobs believed he was made to create, but that belief raises a deeper question about whether he had a choice in the matter or if he was simply following the path his nature had laid out for him. His relentless drive and perfectionism were both his greatest strengths and his deepest flaws. He was obsessed with control, yet there were parts of himself he could never fully control. That struggle between brilliance and brokenness is what makes him such a fascinating figure. He was a visionary who inspired millions, but he was also deeply cold and detached. His genius came at a cost, both to himself and to those closest to him. Whether his impact on the world was ultimately good or bad is up for debate, but there is no question that he left a mark that will never be erased.
he is the steve jobs
Why is his ass shaped like that???
360p? Really bro?
Even the insatiable execution for perfection in the products he created fell short of him knowing how flawed he was. That’s a soul-ripping paradigm to be cognizant of. But he tried to overcome his shortcomings the best way he could.
SORKIN!!!
What actually just i watched. Its mind boggling. So many things to notice. Many deep insights. Everytime you watch it again you will notice something new. Great direction and screenplay.
I’m pretty sure that short flashback to the garage is after Jobs and Wozniak are arguing about the number of boards to put into the computer. I believe this is showing how Jobs was able to surrender his ego in that moment and admit Wozniak was right. Then it cuts back to jobs on stage surrendering is ego and fully acknowledging his love for his daughter despite all those years of emotional neglect.
I liked this movie a lot more than the other "Jobs" movie, it was more of a snapshot rather than trying to be this massive sweeping biopic.
Wasn’t Jobs more accurate though? I mean this film was basically a dramatized account
That last moment ❤
Closest in voice to AMITABH ❤
He was a garbage human.
Total fiction… he never gave his daughter this attention. Total fiction
Writer was friends with him.....believe him or a random NPC who didn't know anyone connected to the story...hmmmmm
@@Kevin-tz2lvAaron Sorkin was friends with Steve Jobs?
They seemed ok at some point in the other Steve Jobs movie
@joewhitehead3 friends might be strong, but Sorkin wrote a speech for him, jobs invited him tours, called him about various projects.
@@Kevin-tz2lv Didn’t he write the screenplay based off the book about Jobs?
Floods of tears when the crowd was screaming for him, and he was staring at his daughter.
3:03 best part of this film. Where finna make History
It would have been really lovely if this had been real...
Michael Fassbender is such a great actor. It’s insane how good he did in this role
It was all about me.😢
history re-imagined. While I hope everyone watching this movie understands, that it is a dramatic adaptation, I think this adaptation is very well done. it a piece of art.
1: I love that through out the entire movie, he's like we're not starting late! Then for Lisa, he's willing to start late, to me that showed growth. 2: There's something about seeing him actually on stage, through out the entire movie we just miss him getting on stage just shows that he's "ready" to take center stage in Apple.
A massively underrated movie.
He was crazy, but the kind of narcissistic crazy that changed the world, showed us all that we see now. He made a dent in the universe. Now stop reading this and go be steve job/abdul lateef jandali, make your dent in the universe 😊
....and Apple products have been overpriced shiny shit ever since.
I love how Danny Boyle just went "fuck the actual facts, I just want to make a good movie"
why did he abandon her? do they have spyware on all computers, how did he get the painting? i don't think this movie was made because they wanted to do something creative. this is paid propaganda.
3:03, holy crap the badonkadonk on Steve.
Awww that’s sweet… he’s still an awful, AWFUL man
Underrated film. Just a perfect ending. Perfect music. So glad I saw it.
Lol this idiot thought he was smarter than cancer. Total suck job of a film
Michael Fassbender said this movie had the best modern screenplay he had ever read.
What’s the name of song?
THat "Thing" made apple again
His life was just as epic as it was laughable the way it ended, apt for someone who was an asshole but still human. He's excellent to be interested in.
“ I’m poorly made “ dam
“I’m poorly made”. Even then, he couldn’t own it. It’s not that he made bad choices, it’s that he’s “flawed”. Everything in his life that he likes, he “made happen” and everything that’s bad happened “to him”.
I used to always kinda feel that Apple products weren’t really all that great and were bought based mainly on the “idea” and the “cult of personality” behind purchasing said products. All that being said: they will go down in HISTORY for what they did for personal computing back in the 80s and how they “reinvented” the digital music landscape in the 2000s with the iPod and THEN reinvented the mobile phone with the iPhone in that SAME time period.
Ive read some passages from her book. Steve did worse than just not paying child support. He was an abusive father in a million different ways.
Noone at their deathbed asks as a last requests to see their achivements. They ask for their loved ones.
The best 6 minutes in screen history for me. Everything- the layers, the stories, the history, the feelings, the things unsaid.
It does break my heart that you would queue for IPhone's but not think I'm worth acknowledging properly. The scales tip
"Woz"...
Omg ! 4:49 He designed the iMac after her childhood painting
pretty lovely scene❤😂
I love the little “Woz?” in that flashback. It sounds like a sibling calling out for help/support from another sibling.
what an iconic scene
They didn’t all like him, but they did respect him.
It's weird to look back at the history of Apple and Steve Jobs as a nostalgia thing, but that's what it is, now. I was just a few years younger when Jobs became famous in his early 20's, so I thought he was an amazing person. I remember when their first computer was released, I remember watching the Super Bowl and seeing their iconic 1984 ad, I remember him getting fired from Apple, him announcing NeXT, I remember listening to talk radio one night back in 1997 and hearing during the top of the hour news break that Apple was buying NeXT that that Steve Jobs was coming back as interim CEO. I remember his "deal with the devil," Where Bill Gates announced via video at Mac World that Microsoft was investing 150 million in Apple. And, I remember all the success he kept knocking out during his second coming. I remember all those things with an "I remember when," fondness. He was a complex man, but one of the greatest business visionaries ever. Probably only equaled by Elon Musk. This movie was very creative in the way it told the story of Jobs and Apple through three of his iconic presentations. The iMac presentation was a better choice than the iPhone presentation because the iMac was the rebirth of Apple, and the presentation that really marked Jobs's second act after his return from the wilderness.
What would he do if he were alive in the age of AI? probably make apple first to achieve AGI or most leading AI company!
Wow.. This scene with this music,so powerful.. Make me goosebumps.. 👏🏻
I just watched the launch of the iMac…Steve Jobs looked more like _Aston Kutcher_ Steve Jobs than grey haired post iPad, post iPhone Steve Jobs
