My fave basslines.... covered! I don't proclaim them to be 100% accurate (though some of them may well be) - rather they are my interpretation of them and uploaded for my own record/enjoyment. If you enjoy them too, then great... and thank you.
Why are there so many KISS bassline uploads? Well, I spent 25 years in what was formerly the World's #1 KISS tribute band. We played hundreds of shows across the UK, Europe, Scandinavia & Japan... and played many launch parties for KISS product. We also appeared with Gene on his Rock School & Family Jewels TV shows and shared the stage at Expos with Bruce Kulick, Mark St John, Peter Criss, Ace Frehley & Eric Singer.
Anyway, enjoy these wonderful basslines...!
Appreciative/friendly comments are always nice... but if you don't have anything nice to say... don't say it. Re-read my first paragraph and you won't need to 'make a point' or be 'clever'. Too much hate in this world so any bedroom haters will be blocked & their comments deleted. Thanks.

The Doobie Brothers one of my favorite Bands Ever
Three beautiful singers! Thank you for all the joy that your music brings!!
I cried when I left this comment earlier. I couldn't even finish watching this video, I was so overtaken by emotion.😢
Terrific groove. The Byrds do a great live version at the Filmore 1970
I stand by Jesus, HE is the answer and love this song
As do I.
Amen
These videos are great! Any chance you have any video of the Doobies playing Don’t Stop to Watch the Wheels live? Trying to figure out who played lead guitar for the song. Rick Beato thinks that it’s Pat Simmons but I was thinking Skunk Baxter. I was doing some internet research and I saw that Tom was still around the band at the time even though he wasn’t officially in the band at that time.
I'm certain it's Baxter - sounds like his playing - always an element of jazz.
@@peterlooney5095 Thank you!
I was 16, and this was playing on the 8 track of my 70 Chevelle. Jesus was all right, and life was good.
Everyone who grew up in the 80s 90s in India knows this tune by heart, but they don't know the Doobies LOL...
Jesus is justice right by me!
Very rare to see Tom Johnston playing a Fender.
These guys could really sing and play ..wow .❤
Incredible voices 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
wait! Doobie is slang for a joint! You mean these guys were into smoking pot?
Very much so.
The Doobies are a national treasure.👏👏👏👏👏👏
Lite up a dobbie😊
This must be the second in a several songs concert for the Doobie Brothers, back in the early years for them. And Tom Johnston is the lead singer for this set. His hair always looks good, but it looks slightly different in this concert, than in the other concert, which was 26 minutes long. I like to watch Tom, and take notice of his moods, and I can't help.noticing that Tom seems more serious in this one, than how happy and relaxed, like he was in the 26 minute concert. (I wonder if the network was pressuring him about something during this concert?).
@@angelinasuazo5705 It's not a concert. It's part of a 3 song mimed promo video created to send to Europe to promote their upcoming tour. Read the description. You can see the other 2 songs on my channel.
I am massively amazed at how much of a young Patrick Simmons we see here!!! He looks like he has auburn hair here! And how youthful Tom Johnston looks! Tiran is looking fine too. In 1972, when this was done, it would have been nice for me to know the Doobie Brothers back then. That was the year I was 6 yrs.old, and it wasn't a good time for me then. But I would have thought that the Doobie Brothers were nice friendly hippies back then! 🕊💓
What do you think he meant? Ive seen these guys two or three times. Always was awesome times in Memphis.
This was one of my favorite albums when it first came out. Does this appear on a DVD? From what I remember is Terry Thomas went on to produce Gentle Giant, Tesla, and Bad Company.
@@chebrneck no, this is the only place you can find this footage.
This is the pop music that was playing in 1972. This was a big hit, and there were other hits that had a Biblical message then.
This was the actual recording session for Listen to the Music. These boys could sing better together live also, than almost any band of that era and even up to this very day. I just saw them in concert not that long ago and them boys sound EXACTLY like they did 50 years ago! It's amazing. This is back when you truly needed to be a true MUSICIAN, or your band didn't go anywhere. I liken the Doobies to The Little River Band. Both bands were able to sing live almost exactly like they did on their studio recordings. Many bands cannot do that, and when they sing live, they sound quite different. Another was America. Those boys always sounded exactly like their studio recordings and I have seen them many times in concert over the years up to just a few years ago. You could name 50 more bands that also sounded as good live as they did on their recordings.
They aren't playing live. They are miming to the record so how can it be 'the actual recording session'? Don't be daft.🤣😂🤣
Kick ass band ❤❤❤
Kick ass❤❤
This flows thru the mind like a dreamy river...brings me to my knees under the pines where He shines unto me. Hope y'all feel the same....peace and mercy jan.
I love the early and mid 70s.
This is the year we saw tempest/doobies/Fleetwood Mac in memphis !!! Still one of the greatest performances ever!! The early 70s were the best years of rock perf!! Killer song! It can bring tears to your soul
Great video... so good to see a very young Pat Simmons and his unique right hand!
YEAH boys!!! Love yall! 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🩷

Loved seeing this! Thank you for sharing.
Growing up it the 70's featured brilliant band, gigs and music programmes, TOGWT was head and shoulders above the rest with an eclectic mix of bands and music styles. It was the one place to see bands like Charlie, Nutz, Heavy Metal Kids and Lone Star to name a few. Highlight of the week to watch for me and was a sad day when it ended. Still miss it to this day so being transported back to a time and place that brings back great memories.

Nice! I got into Rush before I had any hope of doing what Geddy does with his right hand, so the pick was my path to get in the ballpark.
