I really enjoyed the video. I am 52 retired Army who is about 4 months behind you since my son in law sucked me into this game. I found it interesting how similar our bags are (literally, as I too use a Trooper that falls over, which is my only real complaint). The only real differences are that I use a nomad putter, don't have any from Clash discs, but you have me thinking I need to try a few) and suggest the Westside Underworld (my favorite flex long distance 7 speed) and I started using a Tesla as I start trying 9 speeds. Enjoyed the video and look forward to checking out your others.

we live in MA and we were in CA April 2023 for my sister in law’s wedding. Nathan was also the one who helped me when i visited the factory store. he was awsome to be with. i will never forget this conversation i had with him: me: if you have something else you have to do, i will keep myself occupied just fine in this room. Nathan: as long as you’re in this room, i will be in here with you. we had the best experience there. as a new player in the disc golf game at the time, i felt as if i shouldn’t be in there and remember telling nathan that. he made it very comfortable and answered every question i had and definitely pointed me in the right direction.

Nice! I'm glad you enjoyed them. The A5 is definitely my favorite approach disc that I've thrown. It's just the right amount of overstability for most approach shots for me. I compliment it with an A3 if I need something super overstable, and I was previously using the PA-3 in 400 plastic for something more straight, though I'm considering putting an Envy back in the bag instead. The Archive is a great disc that reminds me a bit of a Roc 3. I did find though that I have to release it on hyzer, it isn't so overstable that it wil immediately start fading. It really holds the line you throw it on for a while before having a dependable fade to the left. The F7 is my go to hyzer flip disc for fairway drivers, or I'll throw it flat if I need something to carry right. Hopefully we get a chance sometime to meet up and get a round in. There's a chance I may be traveling up in the area in April for a work trip, though I think that job is in Portland. Maybe we can meet somewhere in the middle!

Thanks for sharing. My box was similar to yours. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of variety in my box. I got a factory second glitch and hex, and a “pro shop” envy. So doubles of 3 molds. Still fun to open.

I have the Axiom version of this basket, it's very solid, just kind of loud. Once you find a putter you like, definitely pick up a few duplicates and practice using only those to get a more consistent trajectory. I have like 10 Pa3s, just bought a new pair yesterday to start beating in. Also, if you haven't, definitely try a couple practice sessions using stagger stance as well. I started with straddle myself and did okay, but found I could get more out of my legs with stagger, mainly because I could balance better with raising my off leg.

Have you thrown any of Clash Discs discs? I can strongly recomend them, their Steady plastic has quite the same feel as the K1 plastic but maybe slightly less ”rubbery”..
