Ramadan 2023 is what pushed me into photographing Islamic architecture
@@apyfz that’s awesome. We don’t have anything like Islamic architecture around here
Loved all the POV shots here! Very creatively done! The "Ain't nobody watching your videos" thing really hits hard. I feel that a lot as well. We definitely all go through imposter syndrome and it sucks. Just have to push through it and not overthink. Keep doing what you're doin man!🔥
@@Espressomo thanks bro! I’m an overthinker, so that’s hard to do lol
Man I will tell you this will never go away. And that's ok. You will constantly push yourself to get better as a result. Great work bro! I am torn between creating less with higher quality and the constant pressure to churn out content with my day job getting in the way all the time. Keep doing you!

@@JuanWilson thank you brother 🙏
Imposter syndrome sucks, and strikes me often as a hobbyist writer and content creator, even a small one. It whispers in your ear that you're not good enough for whatever meager attention or success you've had, that everything you've ever done isn't worth the time to pay attention nor worth the effort put in making it, and that you'll never amount to anything; if you do, you don't deserve it. I don't know why humans are so resolute undermine ourselves over and over, but part of life is conquering our fears and trepidations, I guess. Best of luck, mate, you seem to have plenty of talent and potential.
@ramblies best of luck to you as well. I think half of the battle is finding the cause of why we have it. Part of it, in my case, is the fear of becoming the person/people who’s caused the most pain to the me and the people around me. So, it’s constant battle of confidence and remaining humble. Thanks for commenting! Wishing you peace and success in 2025!

Dude we do have the same taste in cameras … I got my S9 a few weeks ago 😀 Will it replace your previous video recording setup?
@@IntrovertAmateur awesome 😂 no it won’t replace my current recording setup. I got it for certain use cases like going to sketchy areas or mounting outside of the car for certain types of videos 😂 I had l mount lens and m to l from when I briefly had the sl2 and wanted to utilize those some way too

What are your thoughts on the S9? The lack of viewfinder turns me off but compact and full frame are huge. Or not huge I guess. Haha.
@@wesleystreetshots it’s capable and fun. I’m not using it for photography, but I’ll take pics here and there.

@@Bigcookfilms I completely understand. This is when GAS goes wrong 😂
Sounds like you are trying to convince yourself dude, that you didn't make a great choice. Here in Australia that thing is $12,000. One could get a really decent Japanese camera with a couple of primes and a world trip thrown in. Probably be a bit of change left over!
I guess your opinion is based off of the title. Have a good day.
Great video man! Loved seeing all your pics, especially the Halloween ones! For me, I always have that little bit of buyer's remorse on most gear for a week or so, and eventually once I get to enjoy the gear, that all goes out the window. 😅 Btw, finally got to update the firmware on the FX3 without any hiccups 😂
@@Espressomo with gas it’s either buyer’s remorse or fomo 😂 Glad the firmware update went well. Now let’s wait for B-RAW compatibility lol
@@MadefromJava hahaha right with the fomo too. Ah yeah, would love to test that out! Cheers man! 😄
I really like your car photographs.

@@bryanbrew5159 thank you and thanks for watching!
Had I known it was coming out I would have waited, but I am still happy with my Q3 28. Likely my main travel camera for years to see. Well you know how we got GAS so we’ll see. 😂
😂😂😂
I have the original Q3 with the wider lens, I do find it a bit too wide. Not sure I'd like 43mm, I think 35mm would be perfect, but obviously too close to the 28mm (more like 24mm). Overall I love the camera, and out of dozens of pro cameras I've used, this one is the best for family, kids running, lifestyle shoots, but can't get away from the wideness of the lens. I don't like to crop in as I bought it for 60MP.
@@mike2176 yes, the “pro cameras” feel like a work tool in my opinion, and I don’t enjoy using it to capture family moments.
what meter and focus mode were you using?
@@nikkiwinston6814 it varies because I adjust it from time to time. Focus mode I toggle between manual focus, AFS, and sometimes iAF. Ok meter, it’s usually on center.
DOPE!!
@@JoshAndPril 🙏
My first SLR was a Nikon FE which I bought in 1981 and later the FM, and up until now I bought several Nikons which I initially used for wedding photography, now only use as hobby. I got used to using the FE/FM for many years and they were simple and great cameras. The DF is a modern interpretation of those and I borrowed one from my sons friend for a week and I thought it was great. I couldn't fault it other than the rear screen, that I think it should have been articulated for more flexibility. The images out of the camera are just stunning. Yes the lenses are still evolving so no issue there. Cheers
The tele lens is awful, i have one and it kills the camera balance and look.
So nice. I'm at Katy now. Can I join to your photo walk next time?
@@skettr Sure. I don’t go often, but I share these events on my IG stories.

Solid video! You got some crazy street shots. I wasnt paying attention to nothing 😅. Also you making me appreciate b/w photos a lot more 🙌🏼
Thanks Manny! b/w keeps me from overthinking and keep it simple
Nice work bro! What did you think of the S9? I can’t get over the no EVF. I use it a lot when I’m out.
@@wesleystreetshots it’s cool, it’ll make a great B or C cam. Manual focusing was nightmarish, I stopped down to f4-f11 and tried zone focusing.
@@MadefromJava I had a hard time even with the EVF when I tried the Voightlander lens. Get my X-T5 back from Fuji Friday and want to try native Voightlander on it soon!
Loved that shot at 01:51! And sad to hear you didn't have as much of a good time at the hawker place. I remember getting some beef rendang in that area. Didn't think it would be that spicy. Ended up sweating so much, and it was during the summer heat too. It's great seeing all of these places again! Also, was that Climb Central at 10:09? 😄
@@Espressomo if certain experiences get too touristy, kind of loses its appeal to me (very hypocritical of me). Yes that was Climb Central in Funan Mall. Thanks for watching bro
@@MadefromJava yeah, makes sense. I've climbed in Funan once I think. Loved that wall that goes through the middle of the mall. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip! 😄

Great job syncing the music to the footage or did you cut it to fit the music? Either way love it! Something I know I need to get better about.
@@wesleystreetshots thanks bro. I cut it to fit the music. It’s tedious, you just gotta see if it’s worth the time to do it and if it adds substance.
