What's the difference between this and Nvidia's digital humans?
NVIDIA's digital humans use 3D technology to create digital characters. In contrast, UNITH Digital Humans are based on 2D technology and real human faces. We synthesize faces using our proprietary AI model, which allows us to create realistic Digital Humans. Also, video of 3D character usually works with our model.

lips look more like when you do lip replacement on old style cartoons. Still a long way to go.
Thank you for the feedback! We continue to work not only on lip sync but also on the overall facial visual appearance to make the experience even more seamless and realistic.
@UNITH-ai it looks like you're keyframing or trying to match each lip shape to the sound ph-o-ne-ti-ca-lee. That's why it seems so fast and unnatural. If you have to go that route and you want the lip sync smoother, you can make your lips move one to two frames before the sound and if that doesn't work, also try experimenting animating on twos, especially when the mouth is closing. But I'm sure you already know this.

This shows that it has a long way to go and that this is not the area that it should be used at this stage of technology, due to its impersonal approach and bot-like delay and qualities. I would actually like to see how the avatar/AI responds with people giving more complicated answers and those with more challenging accents. You could even form a basis that if it can not work efficiently with those with broad accents that the technology could be deemed racist, giving advantages to those that speak perfect English and open any company using this open to lawsuits. This needs a lot of work.
I just bought some stock... I am worried about the board removal proposal and agree with the reasoning. As for the technology the lip movement and voices aren't very good (I'd say sub-par). I hope for the best with generative AI can resolve these issues, if so I will buy more.
