Belgrade is twice as big as Zagreb is and there is more things to do there. It's true, Zagreb has more 'street entertainment' than Belgrade has, however, most of entertainment in Belgrade is on the outskirts of town, especially on riverbanks of Danube and Sava rivers. There are countless rafts, barges and large boats converted into restaurants, discotheques , and nightclubs - making Belgrade 'The Night-Life Capitol of Europe'. Also the latest development of 'The Waterfront' (Beograd na Vodi) is an attraction in itself! You have to inquire about attraction when in Belgrade, instead of stumbling aimlessly throughout the city hoping to run into something interesting!

People tending stands at 'farmers markets' in Serbia are villagers bringing fresh produce to markets. Most don't speak foreign languages as higher education is simply not available in their villages, including high-school as well. Most young people, however, in big cities speak moderate to advanced English so communication shouldn't be a problem. English is more prevalent in Serbia than in most other Eastern-European countries! Also, Belgrade is flooded with refugees/immigrants/tourists from Russia, Ukraine and western countries as well.

6:18 I know this is comedy but I can explain the sneezing thing! Saying 'bless you' when people sneeze started at a time 1,000 years ago when plagues killed many people. It is shortened from 'god bless you', from sentences like 'may god bless you and protect you/cure your sickness/keep you alive'. Now it's not religious at all just polite manners! It's an instinctive way of saying 'please get well/feel better soon' (even if it was only a random sneeze). My friends like to joke and say the opposite, and when I sneeze, they will say "die quietly please". 🙄😂

There are at least 15000 Chinese people living in Serbia plus at few Chinese malls, so no body is looking at you weirdly - trust me. At least 45 % of Serbians knows English, and I never heard of a foreginer not being able to communicate with locals in Serbia. Bakeries always have the menu in their own native language, no matter where you are in the world - BTW that bakery is not that good. Serbia is known for some of the best food scene in the world and you end up eating from a grocery store because you could not find any place to eat? I mean come one man, if there is a place in the world where you have a place to eat almost at every corner, it is Belgrade. The biggest problem in Belgrade is not being able to choose where to eat, because there is so many great places to choose from. I have been to Belgrade I don't know how many times, and I can never manage to eat the same place twice since there are so many great restaurants to choose from serving some, cheap, amazing and delicious food. I have never watched a vlog about Belgrade, where almost everything is factually incorrect - you can do better than that! I have a whole list with fantastic places to eat in Belgrade/Serbia, feel free to contact me ;) Here is one: Ćevabdžinica Savčić.

You must also visit The Royal Palace in Belgrade, the Royal Compound (Dvorski kompleks Dedinje, coloquially known as Beli dvor, meaning the White Palace), it is the most important part of Serbian history. And Konak Kneginje Ljubice. Also, a house of Serbian (and former Yugoslav) Nobel Prize winner for Literature, Ivo Andric; his house in downtown Belgrade is turned into a museum, and it is open for public eye. After receiving a million-dollar award from the Nobel Committee, Mr Andric specifically confirmed that his greatest wish is to live in Belgrade, Serbia, for the rest of his life. He had written all of his books in Serbian Cyrillic letter. So, you may ask your friend Stefan to organize everything for you, on your next visit to Belgrade. And, I don't know if anyone told you already this: Belgrade is a European capital that actually has Chinatown 😊 Kinezi, Blok 70, Novi Beograd! You simply must visit, you can even make some friends over there. Furthermore, by the end of the year, the Belgrade Chinatown will be relocated from Block 70 to Block 72, and the new Chinatown will be utterly spectacular, a huge Asian and Chinese center with more than five hundred shops and boutiques, Asian restaurants, cafes, and many stores such as Korean grocery store K Food Belgrade ❤

Colin, you have become an excellent tourist ambassador of Belgrade 😊 Yes, Serbia has the best strawberries and cherries in the world 🍓🍒🍓🍒 Raspberries, blueberries and plums, too. You might like to try them 😋 They all grow in Serbia! Serbian fresh fruits and veggies are organic, and the taste is absolutely heavenly! They are very affordable, and you can buy them everywhere - the green markets, street vendors, the supermarkets... Truffles and porcini are also a gastronomic symbol of Serbia. Walnuts, chestnuts and hazelnuts, too.The food in Belgrade is organic and delicious, GMO is prohibited by Serbian law. Serbia has very strict food quality regulations, much better than in the EU. The meat in Serbia is hormone-free, and Serbian grilled meat dishes are most delicious in the world, exactly due to an excellent food quality! So, enjoy eating cevapi, pljeskavica, raznjici etc. Burek you have eaten is also original Serbian! Srpski burek. Srpske pite. Gibanica. Proja. Lepinje. Everything is authentic Serbian. Most important, all of the ingredients for burek are produced in Serbia. The flour, the meat, the veggies, the cheese...even the cooking oil for burek is manufactured in Serbia, most respectively sunflowerseed oil, and grapeseed oil, flaxseed oil and pumpkin seeds oil are frequently used for fresh salads. And, yes, you can find Serbian food in other Balkan countries too, which you might have noticed already, because Serbian influence is huge, and ethnic Serbs live also in other Balkan countries, (regardless of their religious denomination). It is also good to know that historically all kinds of pies originally come from antique Greece. And later the recipes spreaded all across the Europe and the world. The pie in Turkey, similar to Serbian burek, is actually different. Only the name similarity makes all the confusion. And, any kind of pasta originally comes from China. Chinese first invented dumplings, noodles and all kinds of flour recipes. Then Marco Polo brought it to Italy, id est Europe. So, for tourists it is good to know that nowadays Serbia is very famous food producer, and there are 4.000 restaurants in Belgrade! All world's cuisines are present in Belgrade, Korean as well 😊❤❤

No, it is not. Burek in Serbia is authentic Serbian dish! And pies originally come from GREECE. I have read all scientific studies on gastroheritology, in books written by Tamara Ognjevic. I even visited exhibitions dedicated to precise historical reconstruction of medieval Serbian cuisine, here in Belgrade SANU.
