Oaklands - Auto Wood Unloader Tutorial
This build will automatically sand and plank your wood. To adjust for different logs just set the planker size and move the conveyors further or closer depending on the plank size. The bigger the log the bigger the plank should be to prevent jamming.

Yes, the larger the plank, the more money it is worth.

@@PanicDooDoo It depends on the wood you feed into it. I would try to make the plank as short as possible because then it'll fill the truck better from the side.
whenever the wood goes out of the planker it doesn't go up the elevator
Make sure that either the wood isnt too long or that the width and height on the planker is set correctly for how far you spaced the elevator. If none of those work or you cant be bothered with that, now you can just use an alignment conveyor because it'll just teleport anything that goes into it, to the end of the conveyor.

I’m running into issues with the wood not going up cause it’s to thin, it’s magma btw, I was using 3by3 should I use the 1.5by1.5?
Yea, if its too thin then you can just reduce the width and height, as long as the piece won't be too long and get stuck in the elevator.

i ran into a problem with the lower corner conveyor as the planks wont go up even if the direction is right. any thoughts?
Either the spacing between the two corner conveyors or the setting of the planker could be the issue. Probably the planker as if the game lags a tiny bit while setting the size you could accidentally set it too big or small.

There weren't that many meaningful updates and I didn't want to be a youtuber that just posts on every update. I want each of my videos to be meaningful and useful. And with the planker that has just been added it gave me something to make a tutorial on.

Due to an update that makes the planker the same speed, the bottom conveyor in the planker is now useless and does not need to be built
does it work with a steel sander?
@@poto4969The steel sander may not be wide enough for the planker, but idk, it might be. Just save till you can get the industrial sander, it'll let you sand bigger pieces of wood without having to cut them up.

Its really not too hard to build it yourself without measurements, but really sorry I messed up the build measurement. This won't happen again for the next video.

You can actually resize the conveyors, it is not like Lumber Tycoon 2 where the conveyors can't be resized, doing that will save you a few conveyor boxes and some money.

When you place down a blueprint its not a solid object and the material it is depends on what you use to fill the blueprint

i was struggling to follow which schematic is which, i think next time you should label which one you are moving (like moving a 15 x 0.5 x 8.5 ramp)

Currently the best money method is getting mysterious mushrooms. Sell the caps and process the stem to then sell.
Also when I did everything correct it just rotates so it won’t like go up it rotates up to down rotating every time
Make sure the spacing is correct and not too big. The two support beams from each conveyor should be touching. Check that both are facing inward. Check the conveyor direction. Check the refiner/forge settings to make sure they are correct. And make sure that for industrial refiner you use 6 ticks from max. Sorry to ask you to check all these things but any one of them could be the culprit of the issue.
